I am new to MS Access and I was told by many that Access would be the program to use for keeping a strong database. I want to create a database where I can enter in each client and there personal information (ex: name, address, phone number, etc), and also create a file that is affiliated with each client that stores the questions & answers to the survey they each received after using our services.
Is something like this possible with MS Access?
Each client will have there own account number that can be accessed at anytime using that specific account number. The survey that each client receives has about 15 questions with 5 options to choose for an answer (ex: Strongly agree, Strongly disagree, etc). I want to be able to create this Survey file so when I receive the survey from my clients I can enter in there answers and save it according to each clients account number. The survey will be the same for all clients, but the answers will be different of course, so I want to create the survey file so all I have to do is go into the file, enter in the answers the client chose and save it according to the clients account number.
Is all this possible with MS Access or should I be using some other program?
Please help out as much as you can, I have limited time and limited resources, If I need to invest in MS Access I need to put in the request ASAP for the funding. This database will be very helpful when helping out families with children who have a disability.

As an affiliate here is my definition of affiliate marketing: it’s the process of match-making a buyer with a seller. This definition was first introduced to affiliates’ training by Travis Sago, the author of “Bum Marketing”.

Starting to make money on the Internet as an affiliate is one of the easiest business models. The low start up costs made it easy for everyone, whether qualified or not, to start an affiliate marketing business. 2010 witnessed the release of tens of affiliate marketing training courses that claim to be the best ever in the field. That made it even easier for new affiliates to start their businesses.

In the process of match-making a seller with a buyer, the affiliates spend money and/or effort gathering information about the product and what it can do to which group of people. Then they spend more money and/or effort on advertising.

In this process the affiliates are taking all the risk on themselves, and only get paid for their successful promotional efforts. All of the experimenting, tweaking, researching, and optimizing expenses are on them. This situation resulted in two kinds of affiliates:

1. Those who would do anything to get the most out of their promotional efforts, including unethical and sometimes illegal practices, and

2. The affiliates who try hard to make their living honestly but fail to break even several times and finally they drop the ball and look for something else to do.

The super affiliates are not necessarily unethical or using the so called “black hat” techniques, but for most of them success didn’t come over night. They learned from their mistakes and had their “light-bulb moments”. Each on of them has specialized in one form or another to drive the “hungry crowds” down their promotional funnels and only started experimenting with other methods after they mastered what they are doing.

The great thing about these two methods (apart from the fact that they’re free), is that they also work well together. By combining your article marketing with your blog or review site you will be able to send laser targeted traffic to your affiliate link, thus increasing the number of sales you make!

Article Marketing

This is easily the most effective traffic-getting method, and the best to start out with. The idea here is to write a series of articles based on the benefits and features of the product you’re promoting, supplying information on the niche or product category and highlighting the needs of customers in the particular niche and how your product can fulfill those needs.

You’re affiliate product may already come with a series of articles pre-written fro you, however, the majority of article sites will only accept original content. But this doesn’t mean you can’t use the information in these articles to re-write your own. The easiest way to start out writing your articles is to write down each feature and benefit of your chosen product and write one article around each.

This means if you identify 10 features and benefits, you will have 10 articles to submit to article directories. By increasing the number of articles you write, you will be increasing the likelihood of a potential customer coming across your link, clicking on it and purchasing from you.

Blogs or Review Sites

Creating a blog or review site can be a highly complementary form of traffic-generating with your article marketing plan. As a lot of article directory sites will not allow you submit your affiliate link directly into your article, you can refer them to your blog or product review site. This may seem like a longer process to make a sale, but it can actually be quite a powerful method in giving your potential customer more information (and thus more assurance) on your product and why they should purchase from you.

Again, you may have content you can derive from your products affiliate page to create your blog or review page on the product. This will make the process a lot less work for you, but again, I do encourage you use original content as it will increase search engine rating of your site (but that is a whole other topic again SEO or Search Engine Optimization).

Here you can either use your blog or review site to focus on the one product, or you can set it up as an information site in your particular niche and offer reviews of a number of related products. They each may offer the same kind of product or program or you could select a range of complimentary products.

If you’d like to take this approach, I’d recommend you focus on establishing yourself as an expert in your niche. This can be best done by creating a series of informative articles (that don’t blatantly sell) and direct people to your site where they will learn more on the products you recommend.

As you can see, promoting your product and driving traffic to your affiliate link doesn’t need to be an over complicated, tedious or arduous task… Incorporate a bit of creativity and you’ll find you actually enjoy creating articles and sites to promote your affiliate products!

Many people today have heard of affiliate programs. These programs may also called Re-seller Programs, Associate Programs, Commission or Pay-Per-Sale or Pay-Per-Click programs.

If you’re considering joining an affiliate program there are a few things you should know before signing up. One of the first things you should know is what type of affiliate program it is that you’re considering signing up for.

There are several different types of associate program, some of which are named above. And while they all have something in common, there are important differences you should be aware of.

You’ll want to do your research, read the affiliate information and ask questions first before signing up and investing any amount of time or money into the endeavor.

One of the major differences you’ll find amongst associate programs is how much they pay and when they pay. How much a program pays can range from pennies per click if it’s a pay-per-click program to as much as a 50% commission if it’s a pay-per-sale program.

All of this should be clearly stated in the affiliate agreement. As for when they pay, that varies from program to program, too. Some programs pay daily, others weekly, and still others can take up to 90 days to pay.
