I am currently an unemployed student who is not in much of a mood for the hectic, tight scheduled work place. I love fashion and I am actually making sketches for clothing that I would like to market one day. I also have been running into some pretty lousy service lately. I think becoming a secret shopper would be an excellent opportunity to let off some stress, put a voice on lousy service and product, and get paid to do something that I already love doing what won’t add much extra stress while I am in school. How do I get my hands on this type of opportunity? And how do I fish out the scams if I happen to run into any during my endeavors?

I’m having trouble finding my muse, in general my interests are basketball, finance, books, but I don’t see how any of these can made into my niche market, for all of these there are already tons of different aspects of content surrounding them. Does anyone know of a niche that is not necessarily something I’d be a part of but something can be easily exploited? I’m in college and I am tired of dead end jobs serving others for a horrible wage. I want to live life on my own terms!! thanks 🙂

I am just wondering, because I know there must be some sort of self-marketing trick to it. Some “not-so-good” artists have millions of page views, and some phenomenal artists have virtually none, so I know that it must be at least PARTIALLY unrelated to quality.
I am an artist who began submitting my work on the site about three months ago, and I have hardly any page views at all.
I am not asking that people LIKE my work, only that they have the opportunity to actually see it and give me some feedback.
If there are any secret tips that have eluded me, could someone please share?
thank you!

Okay, a few questions here. First off, if someone has filed a trademark that I want and it is in abandoned and dead status.. for more than a year.. can I apply for ownership?? If not can I submit a similar trademark in my own work and be granted ownership of that one seeing as the original similar trademark is dead & abandoned?(I would prefer this option since I like my work better) Also, if I have a trademark containing text in the form of a domain can I argue for rights to the actual domain? Or does that just give me ownership of the manner in which I have the text displayed in my trademark? Finally, if I trademark a logo that I intend to use with my brand do I also have to trademark the brand? (for example: if my logo was a smiley face and I wanted to make my brand smiles) would I have to trademark the logo and the brand name smiles? Or would I submit the logo and somehow link it or affiliate it with a company name of smiles? Sorry if I didn’t present these questions clearly..sometimes it’s hard to ask the right question(s). I appreciate input from anyone with legitimate experience or knowledge on this matter!! 🙂

How does establishing an internet connection usually work, not just in the U.S. but around the world?
I’m currently studying in China, in the previous year, I was able to simply connect a cable from the internet port in the wall to my laptop. After that I would have to enter an account name and password, PPPOE.
Which makes me wonder about what a router actually does. The place I’m currently living in has just been built, the major internet line hasn’t been set up yet. I’m curious as to how I would go about setting up the connection.
Previously it seemed I had to buy these cards w/ the account name and pass from specialty stores, the cards were affiliated with the school. As the “dorm” i’m currently living in has no affiliation with the school it seems I have to go register something…not too sure on the details.
So, what does a router? Would I need one? Where does that “internet port” in the wall actually lead o.0?
