Not Doing Well In School And Life In The Future Doesn’t Look Very Promising. Can Anyone Relate To This?

I am in college right now and it is not going as I had planned. I already have decided on my major and I am working on many of my prerequisites right now. The thing is, I am not doing very well in school and as the semesters go by it seems I am only doing worse. At the beginning of each semester I say I will study, keep up with the reading, and work hard. It works for about 2-3 weeks in and I find myself cramming for an exam or writing a paper the night before. I am barely making grades nowadays with Cs, lucky Bs (very little of these anyway) and I think I have had one D each semester for one class. Its really, really bad, I know…I feel like everyone I talk to is doing well. I really don’t mean to be so lazy, it that’s what people would call this. I really want to make people proud of me and I want to be able to be proud of myself. If it were not for the negativity dropping out of college brings from family and friends, I would probably have taken a break from school and ultimately (probably) would have given up by now. I want to get through college and have a career. I just don’t want to “gasping for air” the rest of the way through college…I really appreciate anyone reading this. I really do not know who to talk to. I feel this isn’t even a question but more of a vent….thanks again everyone.

State That Wants To Authorize Students And Teachers To Carry Gun Sees A Glimpse Of The Future?

Lone Star College student Brittany Mobley told CNN affiliate KHOU that she saw the shooting.
“I saw two dudes basically get into an altercation and … the dude that shot, he basically got angry and, you know, started shooting the other guy,” she said. “A lot of people heard a lot of shots.”
A fourth person at the college suffered a heart attack during the shooting, according to a federal law enforcement official who received reports from the scene.
More guns is the answer says the NRA. I say no. Who are you with?

What Are The Future Paths Of The Economies Of Different Parts Of The World?

I have to write a report fro economics about the current and future state of the economies in different parts of the world and I wanted to know if I am missing or am wrong about anything.
This is my understanding:
North America
Canada(where I am from)- Commodity boom from oil and lumber due to demand from China, suffering from Dutch disease and probably won`t improve and will continue becoming China raw materials cow. But, we`ll always be better off.
United States- Up to their eyeballs in debt, manufacturing base is completely gone, high unemployment, large trade deficits however there is some the dumb *** Americans wake up from ignorance and stop the corruption in their government institutions they can rebound in 20-30 years by doing what Germany did which was specialize in niche markets in the manufacturing sector such ( high-end cars) and leave the cheap manufacturing to Asia. They also have abundant some natural resources that they haven`t developed such as natural gas and lumber which they could sell to China. Bottom line: They need to stop fighting China and start selling to China. When they recover they certainly won`t be calling the shots.
Mexico: growing middle class due to their booming manufacturing sector however the oil is drying up and their government is very corrupt so not everyone is benefiting from this economic boom.
Central America- Most of them are not improving except for Cost Rica but that is mostly because tourism which isn`t a stable industry. Panama is enjoying stable growth because of their canal.
South America- Brazil is booming and is member of the BRIC. China loves Brazilian goods and this is a good thing. However, Brazil manufacturing while improving is still small and I don`t see it growing much and will probably stay China`s resource cow for a long time. Argentina is becoming too protectionist so, who knows what will happen to them next.Columbia and Venezuela are also rowing rapidly because of their commodities. Chile and Uruguay are enjoying stable growth and the rest of the South America is impoverished and staying that way.
Europe- All of the countries in the European Union are doomed except Germany and maybe France of course. They have nothing to sell to other countries and are so much in debt and don`t see a silver lining. Germany is smart( as always) and feeding the rich Chinese with their expensive cars.
The UK has nothing to offer and are too dependent on their financial services they are probably doomed to. Eastern Europe while impoverished has hope because of Russia. Scandinavia and Switzerland and Austria are stable as always. Russia selling commodities to China and growing rapidly in the process.
Africa- Probably going to becoming the next China and cheap manufacturing will go there. They are also very resource rich and will probably export commodities to the BRICS.
Asia
China- Screw the US, China is the largest economy in the world and is growing rapidly. They dominate global manufacturing and as their customer(North America and Europe) are faltering China is starting to increase its domestic market so, it doesn`t have to rely on exports as much. I see no end to Chinese prosperity but nothing lasts forever. Japan is going through hard times but most of the debt they have is owed to their banks and not foreign countries like the US and Japan is resilient and will probably make it through eventually.Korea is becoming stable selling techonolgy to its neighbours. India is booming by selling services to other countries and I suspect that they will dominate the IT and tech industries in the enextcentury.
Australia: stable mostly because selling minerals to China. It will probably continue.

Where Could I Go To Make A Cheap Plastic Model Of A Future Product?

The object is a one piece, plastic “box”. It is however a niche product (I can’t give away my ideas).
Is there anywhere I could order such a model of somewhat firm plastic (approx 3in^3 material, dimensions of approx 6x4x8in) for less than 100 USD? If I go into production, where could I go to manufacture it in bigger volumes (maybe 100-1000 at a time) for max 2 dollars per unit?

Can You Help Me Decide My Future In Faith And Politics? Senator/governor – Pastor/televangelist?

Hello Yahoo. I am a 16 year old sophomore in high school. I live in the state of Florida, and have been pondering, quite literally, my future. I have very deep interests in two fields: faith and politics. I am a baptized Roman Catholic and attend Catholic high school, however am willing to change my denomination if that is God wants me to do.
Essentially I am torn as to how could go about my future. I love the state of Texas, and believe I want to live there one day. And being interested in politics, becoming it’s future governor is also a possible aspiration. Before this, obviously, I would need to spend time in the Texas State Legislature – which I must be 26 years old and have been a Texas resident for 5 years. Some of my inspirations are: Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Joel Osteen, John Hagee, Rick Santorum, Roy Moore, and Glenn Beck. In a way, I want to draw certain attributes from each that could help me politically rise with ease in the future, as well as grow in my faith. The two colleges I’m looking at are University of St Thomas in Houston, TX, and Hillsdale College in Michigan.
Hillsdale offers a GREAT Masters and PhD graduate program I would be interested in after finishing UST’s bachelor joint degree in history, philosophy, theology, and political science. Let’s say this: I’m 18 years old and finish high school. I move to Texas, and spend the next 4 years getting my joint degree at UST. During this time I am getting politically active, and affiliating myself with bunches of conservative organizations. Additionally, I participate in the School of Biblican Evangelism and Ambassador’s Academy under Living Water’s Ministry with Ray Comfort. Not for a degree, but rather for knowledge. So I spend 4 years in Texas – I’m now 22 years old. I move to Michigan, and pursue my Masters in politics at Hillsdale. I finish that in 2 years – making me 24. I then spend the next 5 years getting my PhD- all the while being politically active in Michigan. Is it possible, if I were a Texas resident all those years, to return to Texas, and re-inject myself into Texas, and then run for the state legislature.
Since it’s only part-time, I could also be a college professor somewhere. And if I did become a state senator, eventually governor? And beyond that, perhaps as a US senator? Or maybe one day president? I want to be realistic, but am curious as to how far I could go. And what would get me there quickest. **Kinda looking for the fast track to success in faith and politics. I want to make a difference. I don’t want to sound greedy, but also if I were a preacher by then, could I also become like Joel Osteen and start a wealthy parish?
Or what would it take to join one of their ministries: Graham, Osteen, Robertson, etc — If I can get all their backing, and maybe partner with Glenn Beck as well, plus join the national rifle association, pro-life groups, etc etc, Just please help me put this into context? Thanks and God bless
