My Over Protective Mom Is Overprotective, And Doesn’t Want Me To Be Engaged To My Girl. What Do I Do?

Here’s the situation. I am a 25 year old man, and I’m attending college at a university in Idaho. I have a summer job to help pay for college and housing and such, which causes me to come and live at home for a brief period. With all of this, I am wanting to get engaged to my girlfriend of 5 1/2 years, but mom does not like her family, she does not like her situation. See, my girlfriend is 22 years old, works two jobs, and attends community college here in my hometown. She also lives at home right now. (Basically every time I go up to school for 8 months at a time, she and I are separated.) We’ve been accustomed to the long-distance thing for a period of time, then we’re home seeing each other again in person. I must tell you all now that she is the first girl I have ever been with. I am the first guy she has ever been with. I dated a small amount (can count on one hand) before I met her, but once I met her, we fell in love, and it’s been steady and constant. For 5 1/2 years. Straight. Almost six!
Anyway, I am a deeply spiritual man, and my girlfriend is a deeply spiritual woman. Heck, she even joined the church with which I’m affiliated because she knew it would bring her great peace and joy, and as far as I can see, it has. I won’t get into details–for I am sharing something deeply personal–but basically, I had an experience where I was praying and received spiritual witness from God, like a confirmation of sorts that really boosted my already confident belief in mine and her solidarity as a couple is sure. This just solidified it. I mean, I know God is behind the two of us. My mom really tried to cheapen that when I told her about it by saying that I have been blinded by love, and had not explored my options much, and that I have been too comfortable with this young lady to not pull out of my comfort zone. I argued that I had explored enough, and had been with my gf long enough to really get to know her, as well as saying that I was only comfortable with that comfort that two in love ought to be comfortable with. She didn’t buy it–none of it–and has, from that day forward, sought to control and seek to put forbearance upon my relationship; striving to control how, when, and how long I am in contact with this girl. She’s even put a limit on how many dates I go on with her! Mom’s reasoning? Since I have been emotionally connected, the physical connection will begin. And it could get a little too physical, was the bulk of her wording. Of course, my gf and I are chaste, and we’re Christian, so we don’t do anything sexual between us. We’re gonna wait til marriage. (Besides, why open the Christmas present before Christmas? :D) Anyway, we’re clean, and we have bounds around each other, and we stay lovingly inside of them! I love this young woman with all of my heart and soul, and she certainly loves me just the same, if not more! She amazes me, she dazzles me, and she fills me with great gratitude to God for blessing me with such an angel! But anyway, you all aren’t here to hear that, you’re hear to help me, give me advice, or just reassure me to go forward! Whatever you will say, say it. Thank you all!
God bless!

The Us Government And Human Rights!?

As it is proved before in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US government knows nothing of Human Rights…; and now you can see it in Libya, Yemen and Bahrain.
Bahraini forces have cracked down on the anti-regime protesters with the help of Saudi, the UAE and Kuwaiti troops. Many people have gone missing since the beginning of the revolution.
“the American administration always tries to show the world they represent democracy, but on the other hand they’re giving the green light to the Bahraini dictatorship to do whatever they want to the Bahraini people and that is very, very, shameful,” human rights activist Zainab al-Khawaja told Press TV from Manama on Monday.
“It’s not just words, freedom and human rights and justice are not just words. You cannot claim to be behind change and freedom and then in Bahrain support dictators with all you have and stay silent over all of human rights abuses,” she added.
On Sunday, al-Khawaja was taken to hospital after seven days of hunger strike following the arrest of her father, uncle, husband and brothers-in-law.
The 27-year-old had her father, Abdulhadi al-Khawaja — a prominent Bahraini opposition figure — and her husband Mohammad al-Masqati violently being taken away by the forces.
The family members and human rights activists said that masked officers burst into al-Khawaja’s home on April 9 and assaulted her father and husband.
Reports from the Center’s colleagues in the United States say “In the US some news agencies and TV stations were asked not to report on Bahrain….” Rajab told Press TV.
He went on to say that the US and the Western governments have chosen to keep silent over ongoing atrocities in Bahrain due to their support for the country’s authoritarian regime
PressTV has interview Rodney Shakespeare, Chairman of the Committee against Torture in Bahrain, from London to discuss the issue further more.
PressTV: I’m looking at the website for Bahrain Center for Human Rights. It says more than three hundred and seventy people have been detained or are missing within days of the imposition of the national safety including twelve women. When you compare it to Libya, the Americans have been saying that Muammar Gaddafi has lost his legitimacy, [and] that he has to go because of using force against his people. But no such calls on the part of the Americans on the Bahraini ruler to step down for pretty much the same reason.
Shakespeare: This is sinister fascism. The Bahraini rulers are maniac killers and they brought in another lot of killers, the Saudis. Behind this fascism is the USA and you quoted what US Secretary State Hilary Clinton said and people do not quite see the meaning. She said that any government may bring in foreign troops to kill their own citizens and that means that the American government may bring in foreign troops or use its own troops to kill American citizens. That fascism is now a lot in the Middle East.
If I may say so, America does not have long term interests in the Persian Gulf. It should get its oil on the market like anybody else. The problem is that an out-of-date American policy is linked with the Israeli regime giving either secret or open support to a Zionist Israel and that is the crux of the matter. And that explains why the Americans feel they can intervene in Libya because Libya is not crucial to the maintenance of the totalitarian, authoritarian regimes in the Middle East and their support for the Zionist Israel which is [a] paranoid attack dog and it’s totally out of control and it has no intention ever allowing an independent Palestine.
So yes there was a deal between the Saudis who basically steamroller the other members of the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Group to agree to giving support in Libya and, in exchange, the fascist have been let loose in Bahrain and the Americans ordered it. There are 4,500 troops in Bahrain and they said “do it.” Because if Bahrain or Saudi Arabia did not want to do it, the Americans could have stopped them immediately. I say it was an American order. It is fascism in Bahrain, fascism in the Middle East and it’s a fascism which is coming to the United States and Hillary Clinton does said so.
PressTV: Why is Iran being blamed for what is happening in Bahrain and how likely is a military confrontation or any confrontation between the Saudi Arabia and Iran as a result?
Shakespeare: There are two countries which are deliberately trying to involve the Americans in a war with Iran. The first is Saudi Arabia. It is a country which is profoundly unstable. If they dare to ever have an election, 98 percent of the population will vote out the existing corrupt … regime and so they are playing their foreign card that is blaming everything that they can on Iran. The other one also playing the same foreign card is Israel and Israel’s policy is to create chaos in the Middle East in which it can expand. Those are two countrie

How Can You Tell If Hes Looking At Others?

As a potential mate. I even spoke to one of my guy friends asked him to call him and he told me that my boyfriend told him he wants space from me (Even though my boyfriend never said that to me..), I also asked well is he seeking out other potential partners, he has me blocked on facebook? (I talked to him about that he said he didn’t want to unblock me and that its no big deal) My friends’ answer was “Well would you blame him?” (for seeking out new partner.?) My reply was…. Well I was dumbfounded, I thought in no way should I expect him to be seeking out another partner? My friend seemed to know what hes talking about.
I have friended that person on another account who is facebook friends with my partner. She seems to be kinda sheltered from the reality of deep emotional human life. Seems to be trying to get my partners’ attention (I tryed to friend my partner too from another account he did not take the request..) but I see no comments from him on her page.
I considered I might just be fearful as it is some kinda set up… although the girl has some partner who they may or may not be serious about, they are both mexican.
It looks like shes making a secret relationship and it looks like my partner is being sold on a black market or something.. its very strange. I contacted my partners’ sister to help me she did not accept and neither do his parents. He lives with them.
If he really is pursuing her? I am obviously really stupid, and have been trying for this guy for 4 years now just to get dumped for some little ugly, talentless skank. What else should I do in terms of trying to get information. His sister just moved back to town. In fact I decided to move far far away just to stay away from his family and his sister. I stopped calling when his sister was around and basically gave up on everything but hoping on some kind of future with him.

Cme Margin Requirements?

CME recently raised margin requirements on silver trading (as well as other commodities), which led to a severe price decline in silver. My question is, what exactly is CME and how do they have the ability to change margin requirements? Is CME in any way affiliated with the government?
