Do You Have To Be A Part Of A Group?

I’m not affiliated with any organisation or group. I like to stay as an individual and not be in any mob or in crowd or whatever you want to call it. Someone said i was a spy from some organisation, but the fact is, I have no friends, so why would I be affiliated with some sect? if someone said to me, oh he’s with this or that org. I’d think.you whore. It turns me off. How do people feel about dating someone who is in say, the police?

I’m Buddhist But Don’t Affiliate Myself With Any Group Like Tibetan, Zen Etc. Is This Ok?

I say I am a buddhist but I don’t affiliate with a group, because I think that groups over complicate things. The only people I follow the teachings of are the Buddha himself and the Dalai Lama. (I know the Dalai Lama is Tibetan buddhist but I still like to hear what he has to say in terms of the Buddhas teachings). Is it ok to simply say that I am a Buddhist, and that my one true spiritual teacher is the buddha himself.

Can I Do Anything Legal Re West Plaza Group Scam?

I received check for over $2,000 to be deposited to my bank account via atm. I saw another question that made it apparent that it was the same scam. The scam requires you to be an undercover customer service evaluator. In line with the new ‘working from home’ deals offered on the internet on how to make money by being a ‘secret shopper’ or by filling out surveys. I’m sure there are people that have been duped by this offer because there are ‘legit’ surveys and online income-making opportunities. I would for once like to see the little guy get some justice. Any possibilities regarding this endeavor?

I Have Created A Poll To Regain Control As Moderator Of A Group I Created 9 Years Ago.?

I am unable to contact customer care. There is no longer a “contact yahoo” button under group help. Cutbacks? Also i am unable to reply to previous emails as the are returned back to me. I have called several yahoo and att customer service numbers with no luck.
This is the second poll i have created and it has ended with a vote. How do i finally regain control of this group i created 9 years ago?
I need to access and delete this group as i was denied employment due to this posting. I have dozens of case numbers and have dealt with this problem for over three months. Last person who assisted me was “Edward”. Below is a very brief couple emails that were exchanged .

Hello ,
Thank you for being a Yahoo! user since 2009. We appreciate you choosing to use Yahoo! and truly hope you continue to use Groups, MAil, and Messenger, as you have been.
I want to apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused you. I assure you that I will do what I can to help resolve your issue.
Lorie, I can see that you had created a poll in your Yahoo! Group. However, I can also see that there are no votes voted in the poll. Therefore, the poll results are invalid and cannot be considered. Therefore, I suggest that you conduct a new poll and let other members vote in it.
You will need to announce the poll to your group and ask the members to vote on who they would like to be moderator. If you are unable to locate another member who would like to be included in the choices on the poll, you can put one moderator choice and then a second choice with something similar to “Leave the group as it is” or “Make no changes to moderators in this group.”
Please allow the poll to remain open for a time period of at least one week. Once the poll has closed, please let us know by replying to this email, and we will appoint the newly elected moderator.
NOTE: We will only be able to promote one moderator, so we cannot accept multiple elected moderators. However, the elected moderator will have the option to add additional moderators if they wish.
Additional information on this, and other Yahoo! products, can be found on the Yahoo! help page.
If you have any further concerns regarding this issue , please let me know and I will be happy to assist you.
Thanks,
Edward

I have kept the poll opened for 10 days. What is the next step in gaining control again of my group. This group is 9 years old. My previous account is deleted and i have to access or control to the group i stated. I have not gotten a job as a result of this message board. Below is the last email you sent me to resolve this situation.

Hello Lorie,
Before addressing your concern, I apologize that your issue has not been fully resolved. Please try the following:
Lorie, I see that you are the owner of the Yahoo! Group “pleasehelpmeandholly”. Also, I see that you have not accessed to the Yahoo! Account associated with the group since 9 years. As per Yahoo! policy, if a Yahoo! account is inactive for 6 months, it will be deleted due to inactivity.
Now, as you wish to delete the threads which you have posted in the group, the option you have would be to join this group using your new email address. Once you are joined to your group, you can create a group poll with a message that you were the group owner and as you lost your previous ID, you have joined the group again and want to become the owner again.
Once the poll is open for 10 days and the members vote in your poll, you can contact us back and we can help you with making you the group owner as per the poll results and make you the group owner again.
Additional information on this, and other Yahoo! products, can be found on the Yahoo! help page.
If you have any further issues Lorie, please let me know and I will be happy to assist you.
Thanks,
Edward
