Can I Do Anything Legal Re West Plaza Group Scam?

I received check for over $2,000 to be deposited to my bank account via atm. I saw another question that made it apparent that it was the same scam. The scam requires you to be an undercover customer service evaluator. In line with the new ‘working from home’ deals offered on the internet on how to make money by being a ‘secret shopper’ or by filling out surveys. I’m sure there are people that have been duped by this offer because there are ‘legit’ surveys and online income-making opportunities. I would for once like to see the little guy get some justice. Any possibilities regarding this endeavor?

You can turn it over to the police and hope that there is some reward if they can find and prosecute the people running the scam
There are legitimate undercover shopping jobs but they pay $5-15 per assignment and you are NEVER paid upfront for any reason. You spend your own money, then are reimbursed 30 days after you have sumitted your receipts and evaluation forms. You are never sent out on any assignment until you have completed a training or orientation either at the market research company’s headquarters or in person with their regional manager for your area
