Should I Make Another E-mail For College And Professional Affiliated Contacts?

For example, i’m about to be a senior and my main e-mail the one I use for school, Facebook and other stuff is my name and a 3 digit number….. _> name123@yahoo.com…
Is this unprofessional, does it matter,

Doing Business In Illinois… Reseller’s Permit?

So I am starting up an Ebay business where I will be catering to a niche market and buying from suppliers who require a “reseller’s permit number”. Yesterday, I electronically filed the BUS-1 form on the Illinois department of revenue website. When I checked the stats of my application, I get this:
The number (****-****) is associated with the following types of filings: Form ST-1, Sales and Use Tax Return.
Thank you for filing electronically.
Any necessary correspondence will be mailed to the address you provided.
My question is, how long until I get my reseller’s permit/certificate in the mail? Or is that 8-digit number my permit number? This whole process seems pretty vague to me

Is This A Scam, Or…?

I had this company call my home number claiming to be affiliated with Windows, telling me there was malicious software on my computer. I instantly suspected something fishy, but I played along – cautious as to what info I told them.
They told me to Run the “Event Viewer” program, showing a bunch of errors and warnings. She then told me to go into my computer data to retrieve a 6-digit number from my product ID, and enter it into the Technical Support section on http://www.globetechzone.com/ – allowing one of their workers to have access to my computer. That is where I drew the line. She then told me my systems were out of date, and I needed to pay $115 to update my system. I promptly hung up.
So have any of you heard of globetechzone and is it a scam?
