Has Anyone Received 2 Separate Deposits From Santa Barbara Tax Group When Only Expecting One From Irs?

IRS confirmed they sent Santa Barbara Tax Group(bank affiliated with Turbo Tax) full refun amount but the bank says they only got about 1/4 of it and only released 1/4 to me. I am trying to find out if this has happened and did folks get the rest of their $ without putting up a fight?

Was your refund offset? You can find out by calling: Treasury Offset Program Call Center
    (800) 304-3107
Is a portion (usually EITC) being held until the IRS can verify your information? If so, you can call the IRS and they will explain this to you and what you need to do to receive the rest of the money. That is if you are eligible for it.

You should check the SBBT website and see what they received. If they received the full amount of your refund, then you would get the full amount of the refund unless you owed one of Santa Barbara Bank & Trust afilliates. In the fine print of the agreement that you sign to have them deduct the tax preparation fees from your refund, it does say if you have outstanding amounts owed to their affiliates they can deduct it from your refund.
Do you know for sure that the IRS didn’t adjust the amount of your refund. It could be that they adjusted it and then you will receive a letter explaining the change. You might have to send information to get the balance, but first check the IRS website to see if there is a notification from them about your refund being adjusted.
If the IRS didn’t change the amount check your account at SBBT and see what they received.
