U.s. Air Force Help…?

I am a senior in high school about to join the Air Force. I am wanting something in the Intelligence field. In your opinion what would be the “hardest” to get into. Not physically but mentally and academically where not just an average Joe could do it. I have heard that a Top Secret clearance is worth a lot of money in the civilian market, so that would be preferable. Whether or not my recruiter was telling me the truth or not he said that with my scores I can get pretty much whatever I want.
I am thinking 1N2X1 (Communications Signals Intelligence Production)
1N5X1 (Electronic Signal Intelligence Exploitation)
1N6X1 (Electronic Systems Security Assessment)
What do you all think?

Major Accounting/minor Political Science And Army Rotc? Will It Lead To A Possible Job Like Fbi Or Cia?

A lot of questions to answer but any help would be appreciated.
I just finished my Freshman year with a 3.5 GPA. I may not be the brightest student as I barely managed to get into college with a 2.4 GPA and attend a state school California State University Northridge. Anyways, I recently switched my major from Marketing to Accounting. Since I think I know what I want to do with my future would it be a smart choice to go ahead and Major in Accounting with a minor in Poly Sci in order to look into a future job with the FBI/CIA/NSA or some other intelligence gathering gov agency? I also struggled throughout high school with my math classes and I am going to have to retake my Business Calculus class because I received a C-, but a C or better is considered passing for Business majors at my school. Despite the setback I took accounting courses in high school and although they were easy I actually feel like I enjoyed doing Accounts Receivable/Payable, etc. I even enjoyed an AP Government class I took in High School.
I’m also looking to join the Army ROTC as it is the quickest way I can develop leadership skills that civilian jobs may not give me or take longer to develop. I am looking into some day possibly becoming an officer within Military Intelligence, Finance Corps, or Signal Corps. I seek to some day receive a top secret clearance.
Although I am still unsure I plan on continuing my education after serving 4 years in active duty while being a reserve to receive an MBA or Law School.
How would all this lead to a potential career in the FBI/CIA/NSA or some other intelligence gathering gov agency?

How Do You Overcome A Security Clearance Obstacle?

Recently, the I.T. company I worked for closed it’s doors. The reason was due to the economy. Our client base either cancelled their services with us due to them closing their doors or just cutting back for economic reasons.
I didn’t like this but thought that I would really have no problems getting another job as I usually scanned the I.T. job listings online and there seemed to be plenty listed. I also figured that my CCNA & CCNA/Security certifications would be a plus as well, not to mention I am working on my CCNP.
Here is the problem. Now that I am actually in the job market, I still have no problem in finding a plethora of I.T. job listings, however, 99% of these listings have a stipulation that the applicant must have a current security clearance or in many instances, a top secret clearance. With out either of these, they will not even consider you. Years ago I never saw these requirements, though I do remember seeing that you must be able to get one of these clearances once employed; now, as said, they won’t even talk to you without having a current clearance. I never needed a clearance with the last company I worked for so I never thought about this either. I also see no reason why I couldn’t be cleared as well.
How does one get one of these clearances, or am I just screwed here with my certifications, training and experience and now unmarketable commodity?

Will This Affect My Top Secret Clearance For Navy?

I recently went to MEPS and after 3 continuous days I was able to get my NAVY CTN rate that I so badly wanted. I have a clean background; I’ve been cleared for a California Guard Card twice and worked for the LA Sheriffs Department for 2 years which required an extensive background check. My problem is that I was recently Laid- Off from my job as an Intern at a Financial firm. 2 other employees were also let go but they were more disgruntled and decided to delete contact lists, company files, marketing material on their computers before leaving. I left on good terms, but just a few days ago I received a notice from my previous employer that “I had attempted/proceeded to delete company files on my computer, though everything was recovered.” It’s completely unfounded as I left my computer untouched after I was given the notice to leave the premises. The letter I received was from the In-House legal attorney claiming that I had ‘attempted’ to do this though theres no real evidence to support their claims and they admitted that everything was recovered.
My question is how should proceed after receiving this notice and will this affect my background investigation for Top Secret clearance because I consider it to be ‘defamation of character’ and ‘libel’?
I have a clean background, no drug usage, good credit and feel that this minor accusation may lead to problems during my background investigation. Can anyone out there help me?
