Olympus Om-d E-m5 — What Are The Olympus Secrets Behind The “world’s Fastest Autofocus System”?

http://olympusamerica.com/corporate/corp…
“World’s Fastest*2 Autofocusing System . . . *2 As of November 2011. Among interchangeable-lens digital cameras on the market, and using Olympus’ in-house test conditions”
1) Do you think that when this camera is tested by organizations such as dpreview.com, that it will prove to have the “world’s fastest auto-focus” ? ?
[bhphotovideo.com says “Expected availability: April 10 2012”]
2) If true, how can a mirrorless camera possibly claim this crown? . . . Any tech-ideas as to what has Olympus may have discovered that Canon/Nikon have not ? ?
3) If the Olympus OM-D E-M5 lives up to all of its pre-release specs [and I’ll venture that Olympus has a pretty good reputation in this regard] — is this camera a good buy at $1000 (body-only)?
~ thanks for your answers ~

Being Messed Up To Girls?

Sorry if this is a long read.
I met these girls in one of my classes when I helped them out with studying for a test, since they were freaking out. After that, they have started talking to me quite a bit. I did not mind because it was nice talking to cheerful people and I wanted to be respectful. I thought that they could use a guy friend to have casual conversations with, share a few laughs, or get help with issues.
However, my guy friends noticed this for some reason and approached me, asking why I would be “affiliated with ugly girls”. I did not approve of them talking about them behind their backs like that, but they just teased me even more. I did not understand this because they were really geeky guys that rarely talked to girls of any sort. This has been going on for a couple weeks now- they are still calling those girls ugly and harassing me for talking to them. I could care less if they teased me, but it crossed the line when they bad-mouthed those girls like that. I will admit that they were not the most attractive girls in the class, but I feel that they have no right to judge them like that. I think that every girl is beautiful in their own way. However, I have considered cutting off all contact with them to keep my friends from bothering me about it. I have not done it yet because I want to be more considerate to the girls.
I feel like cursing them tomorrow since they are getting on my nerves. What do you think I should do? Should I just ignore the girls now?

Why Are They Better Suited?

I have an ecology test tomorrow, and I think one question is going to be “What would you try to find out if you wanted to know why one kind of locusts is more common than another in Scandinavia?”
I’d reckon you’d want to find out the locusts preferred habitat and niche, and compare them to each other. Also what kind of camouflage they have and what they eat. Am I barking up the wrong tree? This is an “A” question, so I really need to analyze it.
Also, another question might be “Explain why the production of phytoplankton in a lake is increased during the spring and fall”, can anyone explain that?

Botany And Ecology Practice Question Help?

So I’m trying out these practice question for my upcoming test but can’t figure out the answer and can’t find the answers anywhere in the textbook.
What types of natural disturbance play a role in affecting species richness in plant
communities?  Does human caused disturbance mimic ‘natural’ disturbance?
2. What kinds of dispersal traits influence whether a species can colonize a plant
community?
3. Given the effects of disturbance on species richness in this old field community, how
should one manage a forest to maintain native species richness?
4. Can you predict the habitat (or niche) requirements are of exotic species based on
where you found them relative to native old field species?  How do the life history traits
(mode of reproduction, growth rate, amount of offspring produced, seed size) of exotic
species differ from that of native species
