I’m a 14 year old aspiring artist and this is my first verse of a song called FTW, and I wanted opinions before i post a full song and video, you might get some parts mixed up because i use alot of metaphors but here it is:
1rst v: Im a good kid, that lives in a mad world for a young *****
But its cool cause when i make it everyone gon be on bandwagon, more recognition i cant imagine
But it’s a cold city here, Chi-town has no pity or sympathy here
Cause this life im living, its not the life for me
So Im gonna do whatever that’s right for me
Forget my doubters, Im gonna be what I’d like to be
I been through lots of horrible things you cant frighten me, enlighten me
Dear Lord, have mercy on my enemies
Thank you for the great lyrical talent that you’ve given me
Im tired of the music industry, comparing me to wack wanna be pop stars, man are u kidding me?

My mother insists she’s heard a song from a long time ago that contained the line “I’m sexy and I know it” and was not affiliated with LMFAO. Does anybody know what song she could be thinking of? She thinks it was probably an 80’s or 90’s song; my dad agrees with her.
