I Have Found Some But Need Help Finding More Fallacies In This Article Help!?

Republican administrations always tout the free market, but when it clashes with the perceived interests of the national security state—of which they are so fond—it gets outgunned. The most recent example is the Bush administration’s threats against a liquefied natural gas pipeline that would run from Iran through Pakistan to India. The administration wants to put the screws (to stop) to anything that would benefit Iran—a member of President Bush’s “axis of evil.” A less jingoistic and more enlightened administration would realize that through free commerce among the rival groups in this region, this pipeline would help poor countries to develop economically, and at the same time reduce the likelihood of conflict and enhance U.S. security in the process. South Asia, the proposed route of the pipeline, is probably the most dangerous region in the world. In recent years, archrivals India and Pakistan have both tested nuclear weapons and come close to nuclear war. Pakistan supports guerillas in the disputed Indian region of Kashmir, a potential flashpoint for nuclear escalation. Although India primarily wants the so-called “peace pipeline” to deliver badly needed energy to a rapidly growing economy, it sees the pipeline’s role in improving relations with Pakistan as a major side benefit. Economic links among potential adversaries can create peace lobbies in those countries because much money can be lost if a war starts. Thus, commerce may very well reduce the chances of war—in this case, an Indo-Pakistani nuclear war with dramatic global implications.International commerce can also open up despotic regimes to Western ideas, including those of liberty and human rights. This happens slowly over time, however, and the Bush administration has little patience for the approach. In fact, the administration desires more rapid results through coercion both economic and military. The United States has long restricted commerce with Iran and is apparently readying plans to attack that country. According to investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, administration planning for an attack on Iran is in the advanced stages and has included U.S. Special Forces missions on Iranian territory to identify key targets. Certainly, Iran has an autocratic regime that has committed human rights abuses, likely has a secret program to develop nuclear weapons, and has sponsored terrorist attacks. But the regime is only a limited threat to U.S. security. Recently, Iran’s sponsorship of terrorist attacks has been against Israel, not the United States. Furthermore, even if the worst case comes to pass—Iran gets a few nuclear weapons—the U.S. arsenal of thousands of nuclear warheads would most likely deter an Iranian nuclear attack on America (that is, if Iran ever produced a missile that could deliver a nuclear payload at such great distances). The U.S. arsenal deterred radical Maoist China from launching a nuclear attack on the United States after the Chinese obtained atomic weapons in the 1960s. The primary goal of even ideologically zealous regimes is self-preservation; getting their home countries incinerated is counterproductive to the spread of their ideology. Any military attack designed to target Iranian nuclear-related facilities is unlikely to destroy them all—because U.S. intelligence on such installations is limited—and is likely to deliver a pro-Western Iranian population back into the arms of the thuggish regime. Economic coercion against Iran is also likely to have a counterproductive result. Forty-five years of economic sanctions against Fidel Castro’s regime in Cuba have merely allowed him to rally the Cuban population against the “Yankee oppressor.” Although counterintuitive, allowing free commerce with both Iran and Cuba would have gradually allowed Western products, services, and ideas to chip away at the oppressive ideologies of both governments. But the implications of U.S. economic coercion against the pipeline are far broader than their effects on Iran. To stop the proposed Iran-Pakistan-India natural gas pipeline from being built, the Bush administration is threatening India with the Iran-Libya Sanctions Act, which allows the president to penalize any company that invests more than $20 million per year in Iran’s energy sector. This sanction is called an extraterritorial measure, because it not only penalizes the target nation, but third nations and companies that have commercial relationships with the target nation, as well. Such measures are especially pernicious to the international commercial system. The Bush administration’s refusal to look at the big picture and realize that free commerce is also the best national security policy is puzzling and troubling. The administration has realized the danger to the world of nuclear war in South Asia and has supported the Indo-Pakistani peace process. however, it is also trying to block the peace pipeline, which would foster economic cooperation between the two bitter…

What Are Some Good Resources To Become An Expert On All Things Alcohol Related?

First, I want to specify that my ultimate goal is not necessarily to become a bartender or mixologist. However, I recently became interested in brewing my own sake or shochu. While I found plenty of guides on the subject, I found myself wanting to know exactly what certain terms meant, how flavors work, etc so that I may eventually perfect my brew.
I am internet-savvy, but I seem to only find either bare-boned guides on brewing, or only some niche sources. I will peruse multiple sources if it comes to it, but I was hoping there was a book or website that sort of laid everything out regarding what I am looking for. Any help and references is much appreciated!

Suggest Some Good Teen Drama Plots Or Ideas?

I want to write a novel in the genre of teen fantasy and, and young adult drama. I want it to be about girls because I am a girl and I find that it is easier and that it increases the quality of the book, if I do from that point of view. I don’t have a specific preference on what the book will entirely be about. I’m really good at writing wittily. I’m great at suspense, drama, romance, and fantasy. You know, that type of thing. I want it to be really girly and I really want to keep it clean. Meaning no gays, bi people, and absolutely no lesbians. I prefer to keep it PG so many more people can read it without feeling uncomfortable, so that I won’t be put into that type of genre of “dirty nasty and R rated books!”
Please help! Suggestions, plots, character names, niches/archetypes, and stuff are all welcomed! Loll, I’m getting excited just thinking about it! Hahaha, weird right? Please Please Help! Thank You All In Advance! It can be murderous, scandalous, dramatic, or even religious (Christianity though, because that’s all I know). And yeah so have fun please help! Thanks again!

What Is Up With This Girl? Was This All Some Kind Of Trick?

I am an 18-year old student. I suffer from an autistic spectrum disorder, commonly known as Asperger Syndrome, which makes it difficult to communicate with others. A few months ago, I had met a girl of the same age, who claimed that she also had Asperger Syndrome. She appeared to share many of the same interests as me and we corresponded over Facebook frequently.
As the months passed, it would have seemed that the two of us were best friends. But a turn around transitioned very abruptly. I was suffering from an acute form of anemia and I did not possess the energy to return to school, or to visit another person’s house. She sent me a message, with an angered theme. She asked why I did not come to her house when she had requested me to. I then informed her about my medical condition and that I need not deplete my energy, as per the nurse’s orders. She responded, saying I was ‘making it all up’ and that I am making excuses, when I was barely well enough to stay awake, and I required daily shots.
As little as a week later, a friend of mine posted a status, asking which foods are good for gaining weight but not risky for somebody who has diabetes. I went into detail, I writ about two paragraphs, all of it was relevant and useful to the situation. She writ in capital letters ‘OH GOD. NOT ANOTHER ESSAY.’ (note that this friend of mine was not affiliated with her in any way, but she writ that under my reply to that friend). I politely told her that I was only helping my friend and that it had nothing to do with her.
Five minutes later, I was inboxed. Her message was hate-ridden. She began to tell me that I would never be able to associate with anybody because of my disability (referring to my autism) and that I think I am better than everyone else (I said no such thing and never gave off that vibe to anybody, because that is false) she then bashed me like hell, and somehow got about five of my friends to turn against me. She mentioned that everybody else would get further ahead in life than me. And all of this was because of a detailed message helping a friend with diabetes, informing her about what foods she should and should not eat and why. She then threatened to report me when I told her that I hate her back for back-stabbing me, saying that she shall not be hated for ‘no valid reason’.
I was the only friend she had. I was the one who’d approach her to speak to her as she sat alone on the cafeteria tables. I was the one who was most alike to her. And I’d helped her with her depression at one point, because I suffer from depression, as well. I was also bullied.

What Are Some Good Female Names And Code Names For My Characters?

“So I need names for my two main characters. Pls help me :<, And please tell me if my story works."
PLOT: (Sci-Fi)
There are twins who are very good in everything (arm in arm combat, samurai, etc.). Their parents are proud of them specially on Twin A. Twin B develops a deep jealousy and hatred so she decided to kill her parents. She didn't kill her Twin sister, because she wanted her to suffer.. After 4 years, Twin B became the head of the most notorious Yazuka clan in Japan. She killed the former leader in a challenge. She also became a business woman leading the largest black market in japan, trading illegal products in other countries. Twin A, trained herself for years, she works for a secret agency and became an assassin. Killing every person who has a connection to her twin sister..
SETTING:
Futuristic Japan
CHARACTERS:
Female Twins. TWIN A she's the Hero in my story. While TWIN B obviously, she's the villain.
Character description:
The characters were drawn in anime but I still incorporate western style. Both characters look the same, since they're both twins. But you can easily distinguish who is A or B because of their attitude. Twin A's appearance I would say is very mysterious, she's wearing a body suit (tron like), her hair color is dark violet/indigo, same with her eyes. While Twin B is a total opposite. Her look is seducing, she always wear a kimono. Her hair and eye color is the same as Twin A.
TWIN A – She is an assassin. She works alone. Her goal is to revenge her parents and kill her evil sister. Her emotions are very limited because of the death of her parents. She's really good in combat, she has a katana (samurai sword) and a gun (caliber 45).
TWIN B – She is the head of a very powerful yazuka clan. She's a business woman (black market). She's very intimidating, she can easily seduce you and she's a very manipulative person. Other heads of the yazuka clans is scared of her because of her power so they became her Minions. Like Twin A, she's really good in all.
oops! almost forgot.. Code names also ^^ for the Twin A. Decided to call Twin B "Lady Oni" (for her code name), since she's a Lady and "Oni" means demon in Japan…
For their names. Im thinking a japanese name, since their japanese. For the code name, it can be in english ^^
