Affiliate Marketer Needs WordPress Plug-in To Track Affiliate Sales From Ppc Traffic. Can You Help?

Hey! I am using WordPress to promote various affiliate offers. I use Google AdWords and Bing to drive traffic (PPC) to my offers, but am having the hardest time trying to find a WordPress plug-in to help me identify which keywords are generating my commissionable sales. And, I do not want my merchants to see what my successful keywords are.
Can anybody out their in Yahoo Answers land point me in the right direction? I am not a coder, so I figured a plug-in would be perfect.

It’s Never Too Late to Affiliate

Affiliate marketing is a method, so popular, that it promotes web businesses and in return, an affiliate is rewarded for every subscriber or visitors that he takes in as part of his reward.

Interesting, isn’t it? Building your site is like your portal to having a great income. You want to hear something better – starting an affiliate business does not have to cost you anything at all.

Affiliate programs, well most of them, you can join for free. When you join one, a unique affiliate link and ID will be provided to you. The said affiliate link markets your merchant’s product or service – so when someone purchases using your affiliate link, guess who earns a commission? Yes, you little marketing affiliate person, you.

So to keep the suspense no longer, here are the steps on how you can start “affiliating”.

The most logical first step would be to research about “The Affiliate Program” that offers popular products. And yes, you have to consider the conversion rate of the said product – you can do this by visiting the affiliate program’s website to know more about them and what they can offer.

The second step is to join an affiliate program – and better use the one with high credibility when it comes to giving commissions.

After you joined an affiliate program, the next step is to promote it through a website. And this website would be your place of advertising and your source of prospective clients.

Your website has to make sense and has to have relevance to the product you are selling. It should be a source of information to those who want to know more about the product that you offer to the internet world. If you are selling e-books, you can blog about them and add attractive pictures to give more life to your product.

The other way to “glamorize” and “popularize” your site is to draw people to it – how? Pay-per-click Advertising is one – Yahoo Search Marketing and Google AdWords are two of the most dependable pay per click advertising programs to boot. They work like this: if someone enters a certain search term and that matches your keyword, your ad will automatically appear on the search result page’s sidebar!

Article marketing is also an effective way to get more clients and a continuous crowd at that. By publishing at least one article per week, you can naturally drive traffic to your site like a charm.

You can even post messages on forums to increase your visibility factor! Join community sites and leave your name so you can build your status in an effective way. What is important here is you develop “a relationship” with many people – by “befriending them in a professional way”, you could pass that barrier of doubts and they could learn to trust you more – and so as a result, they visit and support your site.

Affiliate marketing is an interesting business opportunity for anyone. It can give you big commissions with a mere click of a computer mouse.

Affiliate Marketing 101-6 – Building a Buffer Website?

Comments (0)

In affiliate marketing sometimes it is not an option to drive traffic straight to the affiliate link. Such cases include:

1. Driving traffic from Google AdWords,

2. Direct linking is not allowed by the product owner or the advertiser, and

3. When the market is so competitive that you need to make the most out of each visitor in order to be profitable.

In such cases an affiliate marketer will need to send the traffic to a buffer page or website. Even if direct linking is an option, it is your best interest to build a website using the data you collected from direct linking in order to maximize your earnings.

Affiliate marketing is not just a way to make money on the Internet, it is a real business if taken seriously enough. And to build an affiliate marketing business you need to build a list of potential and current buyers, and make sure you made all the possible efforts to get them to buy your recommended products. And this can only be done when you send the traffic to your own website: the “buffer” website.

The job of the buffer page is to:

1. Presell the buyers so that when they land on the sales page they are prepared to pull out their credit cards and place the order.

2. Provide a medium to collect the emails of those potential buyers so that you follow-up with them with more preselling material to increase your chances of making a sale.

In any form of marketing on the Internet, building a list of potential and current customers is the most important activity that a marketer should do. This list is the most valuable asset that:

1. Can make you money on demand by sending promotional emails to your subscribers, and

2. No one can take it from you. You have already paid for bringing these visitors to your site. If you let them go, even if they buy, you are leaving money on the table. Collect their emails in a legit way and you can resell to them later.

Formal affiliate marketing training, unfortunately, doesn’t exist. The good news is that I have a completely free affiliate marketing training series posted on my website: http://marketing-online-101.com where I explain it the way I do it.
