I used to be able to check a box, then holding down the shift (or was it control?), check another box and it would automatically select all the emails in between. How is this done on the “new” Yahoo?

all of my emails , there used to be a box I could click on and it would delete all. Now it just says “sort by” and so I have to click each email one by one to delete. How can I get that option back so I can just click one button to delete all my emails because I get so much spam. Thank you

My inbox has over 42000 message, i m thinking of starting to reuse yahoo so need to do a cleanup first. Any idea how to clear all unread messages ?
