Let’s take Harry Potter, Twilight, and the Hunger Games. What do they ALL have in common? Their stories are a mishmash of two primary genres/major themes. That’s one of the secrets to their success (;
● Harry Potter—epic good versus evil fantasy and classroom setting/preteens and teenagers going though the worries of school
● Twilight—romance/forbidden and paranormal creatures (creating a sub-genre in its popularity)
● Hunger Games—dystopia and forbidden love/romance
Another common factor in the success of the named novels is that they all target to the young adult market, aided with the use of universally relatable themes.
Just thought I’d share this with everyone in case someone has a case of writer’s block 🙂

So, all of my classes, excpet lunch, gym, and gov, are full of the ‘popular’ sluts, douches, athletes, and some totally scary people . . . I don’t aim to judge people it’s just everyone has their niche in ALL of my classes but me, and it’s aggrivating..I have absolutely NO ONE. I’m not exadgerating!! Literally NO ONE.

I was born in the US but I speak Russian at home and I have Russian native speaker class in my school that’s counted as foreign language. For class, I have to write a story and I’m writing a story about a girl who wants to move out on her 18th birthday through the balcony (they live on the 1st floor) in the middle of the night without notifying her parents leaving a letter on her bed stating she’s not kidnapped so there will be no police investigation and not to contact her again. I need the letter translated into Russian. Please capitalize the letters I capitalized. Thanks. You can type in Russian here if you want.

Do mot argue over my leaving such as using phrases like “she left because you did this” or “if you have not done that she would not have left because I would have left one way or the other. Please remove me from ALL your wills, estates and insurance. I am being adult adopted. That is like child adoption except my new parents are not my legal guardians and can’t control me. Instead, I loose my legal connections to my old “family” and create new legal connections to a new family. So if I die without a will, all of my stuff/belongings will go to my adoptive parents/family. I also get a new birth certificate.

TO ALL THOSE READING THIS: you are either a person who wants to get noticed or you think you have the answers to this question or you’re just passing by. The point is, with all of people claiming to know the answer to getting subscribers, viewers, etc…I have yet to run into somebody who has a formula to achieve this. I bring this to your attention because I have studied trends, viral marketing, points and highlights from all over the net. I have, after I have done everything that was suggested such as creating responses to video, blogging, posting on forums, creating high quality content, creating different channels, and much more: I have discovered there is no formula, as of yet, to achieving more views..I want people to know this because if you want to give up, then maybe you should. But if you want to make videos because that’s who you, then keep on doing what you love and there is always a shade of hope that maybe you will be discovered. From what I have seen, there are great youtubers out there who never get attention and then there are those that get attention and nobody knows really knows why. Is youtube bias towards some countries and do other countries get faster responses…we all hope, that one day, one of our videos will get discovered or that people will be attracted to what we create. If you have been making videos for the past few years and still no results, then you and I have to seriously rethink things here. We need to come up with an answer that is outside the box, something new, something different. I have spent years on these yahoo answers and the majority of people who post on these sites have never been success in large youtube attention. First of all, what is attention, 5000 views, 50,000 or 100,000. I would like to say that 50,000-100,000 views on a video that you made is amazing but others might have different standards.
I know 3 people personally who have had viral videos of more than 100,000 hits and all these people have no idea why it happened or how?
The point that I am trying to make is that you should try anything and everything because youtube is a mystery and unpredictable. So the predictable in theory won’t work, not that it won’t! If you are just starting out, do what you do and you never know what may happen.
I will fill you in a few things that are Universal..that the world hungers to see such as emotion(double rainbow), faces like Justin bieber, charm, beauty, character or personality that is different, cute, attractive, ordinary but extraordinary(the man with the golden teeth) etc
I write this because after 3 years of youtube creation, after dozens of channels, parody’, songs, skits, , some HD, other’s just SD, etc..and having one video reach 50,000, I still need to re-evaluate these things, to ask myself why I do this and if I am doing it for the right reasons. I always come back to these forums just to see if there is something new out there I haven’t done yet…

I first ran into Anonymous on Youtube after watching Tom Cruise Scientology vids. I am not affiliated with either organization AT ALL! I have read (most) of the info on Wikipedia about Anonymous, And also Chanology but I don’t really get it. What is their main goal? Also what is their beef with Scientology? I totally disagree with Scientology but what is Anonymous’ protest against them about?
Please no complaints about how I categorized this question…I really have no idea what section it should be under, thanks!
What I really want to know is…what is their ultimate goal, and where does the wikileaks come in? I know this is a complex and unorganized question, sorry, but I think to adequately make sense of it for me I will need a looooong answer. Thanks for your attempts, no haters please, I really just want to understand.
