I just joined rap bank (an affiliate program) it looks like a good program. I see a lot of programs that require you to have a blog, niche, or some form of website. I don’t have one nor do i want to deal with making one, does anyone know if i can just post classified ads on craigslist, backpage, etc.. with my affiliate link (it will be a “click here hyperlink”) and still get my commission?

This is one way to market but some big websites like craigslist and ebay do not like affiliate back links. They frown on the big EXAMPLE- http://www.sfdas.com/12345/ kind of links. Instead it is very important to get or create your own domain. This allows you to bypass the sites who don’t want affiliate related links on there site. Another more easy way to advertise now a days is on the social networks like facebook or twitter. Selling to your family and friends is a great way to start your business. Twitter for internet marketers is a great web site that offers a quality CD for just the cost of shipping and handling. I recommend this site if you don’t know how to setup, create, and market on twitter. It helped me to get over 300 contacts and is making it a great way to sell my product.
I think you can promote your website using all social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and even use bulk IM’s available in the online market.
