Religion is ridiculous. I spend a lot of time on YahooAnswers sharing this notion with others. Jesus sucks, so does Muhammed, God, Yahweh, Joseph Smith, Zenu, and any other egotistical religious icon that claims he’s got superpowers of some sort. Please stop teaching this crap to kids.
When I’m faced with Christians and religious aspects in nearly every niche of society, which is very embarrassing to me as a human, why is it that Christians are surprised that I enjoy making their religion seem as stupid as any?
Please, no hellthreats, tainted logic, unsupported claims of religious “evidence”, or “I-feel-sorry-for-you’s”.

I have given up being surprised by the brain dead atheists on here.

I’m a Christian. I don’t have a problem with atheists, or anyone who doesn’t believe what I believe.
I have a problem with pompous, self-important arseholes.
Maybe that’s your problem.
they shouldn’t be considering us atheists get bashed a lot to but dont try to follow their logic you’ll just get dizzy.
It’s not worth it; encourage people to be open-minded and critical thinkers, and let them come to their own conclusions. Don’t shove your beliefs/lack thereof down someone else’s throat unless s/he tries to do the same thing to you. I’m not exactly a fan of brainwashing children either, but being hostile won’t get you anywhere.
No surprise to me at all. You clearly have personal issues and insecurities which you mask by picking a group and insulting them. If you don’t believe in religion thats your choice. But it is safe to say if you were truly secure in yourself and your beliefs you would have no need to judge the beliefs of others. So like I said, not at all surprised…

I really don’t think it surprises them at all. According to their way of thinking, they have been persecuted for the last two thousand years- despite their witch burning, heathen burning and ostracizing non believers from every aspect of society they could control for the last two + centuries.
I can say the only reason I come here is because I am so bombarded with Christianity that I just need to blow off some steam.
Well, I’m not surprised. When Jesus said the world would hate me because of Him, I took that literally. You may make fun of religion as much as you want. Be my guest.
Whatever floats your boat, just bear in mind life has a way of surprising us. You’ll have a lot of egg on your face when you realise that other people’s views besides your own are also valid.
It’s surprising, because most people are too busy to spend so much time being a hateful bigot like you.

I guess because I don’t bash atheists, or people of other faiths, so I expect the same respect from non-Christians. (I’m Christian)
I do keep forgetting the scripture that Chrstians will always be persecuted though. So, keep on doing what you’re doing!!
Belief bashing is not proof of superior intelligence. Only small mindedness.
I’m sorry that you feel that way. Most religious people accept atheists for who they are, maybe you atheists should accept Christians for who they are.
