Texas College Choice…?

(Sorry this is going to be long!) I’m a sophomore in high school and I’m trying to get a feel for what college I want to go to. I’ve tried college search, but it’s hard to narrow anything down because some things are nice but not deal breakers and if I put under 50% for something and a college has 51, it rules it out-so it just doesn’t give me a broad idea of what colleges I should look at. So far I’ve considered UT, TCU, Baylor… I’d like to see if I could get into Rice, but it seems too close to home, city-centralized, and kinda boring, you know? A&M is also a great school, but I don’t like it as much as UT. Getting in to a college isn’t a factor of importance, as I’ve always been in all honors and never gotten a B, also being very involved with the school and student government, volunteer work, etc… I play soccer, but plan on stopping after this year. I want to go somewhere I’ll enjoy, I love a pretty campus-rural would be fine with me but I love the perks of the city… so I’m kinda all over the board here. The school needs to be prestige for the most part, I LOVE the TCU campus, but it isn’t that prestige and it’s outrageously expensive. Price shouldn’t be too high. It needs to be in-state, unless I get like a huge scholarship out-of-state. I love the Texas State area next to the river <3 but it's kind of known as a party school? No choice yet on a major, graphic design maybe? But I don't think I want to spend my life in front of a computer. Ummm… I'm Christian (Baptist/Methodist), but I don't mind going to a school not specifically affiliated with my religion, as I enjoy the diversity. Any advice whatsoever would be appreciated-even if it's just your experience from one individual school. THANKS SO MUCH to anyone who helps!!! (:
Oh and I'm looking at a 4-year college.

Texas A&M is where I’ll be heading next year. If you are looking into engineering, architecture, or something like that, A&M is a perfect school. Tuition is very cheap, about 6000 a year, with around 3000 a year for housing. If you need a full ride, you can join the corps of cadets, as they love to give out scholarships. It is all in college station texas and has a great feel to it. Everyone there is very friendly. If you keep to yourself, just expect a few ‘howdy dammit!’s. You said graphic design, which they should have something for. If you’re looking in to religious organizations, there are pleanty. But A&M isn’t for everyone. Mostly for those who like a slower paced life and like to be around friendly people. And one last thing: an average A&M student makes 90,000 out of college, the average Texas University (UT) student makes 60,000 out of college.
