Does Victoria’s Secret Use Vanity Sizing?

For some reason I tend to think that Victoria’s secret lures their customers in through vanity sizing making women believe that their bra size is larger than it actually is.
I don’t shop there because I believe that its not worth paying $40 for a bra, but i decided to get measured for the hell of it.
Turns out the lady tells me that I am somewhere between a 32b and 32c, and that I can wear both depending on the bra.
Looking down at my chest, I don’t even look like a b cup! Nevertheless a C!
Personally, I think I look like a full A or very small B but most definitely not a C.
Is this some type of evil marketing ploy to get us to buy their $50 bras?

Did you try on a bra? I thought I was an A, and I got measured there and they told me I was a 34C, I didn’t believe them but then I tried on a 34C and it fit perfect! I bought one from them and one from JC Penny’s both 34C. They are a bit high in price but personally I prefer victoria’s secret bra’s over any other. They’re the same size as every where else.

If you didn’t, don’t say anything about vanity sizing. 😛 They measure you in the same way any other measures you.
and like they said, depending on the type of bra.
not all bras are made the same. Some you’ll be able to fill out more than others.

Not so far as I can tell. The bras I buy from Victoria’s Secret are exactly the same size as the bras I buy elsewhere, and they all fit the same.
If she says you’re that size: try it on.
