Why Is It That When Republicans Advocate Torture, They Always Mention Water-boarding But Never Mention More?

extreme forms of torture. Torture is a progressive act. What starts with water-boarding will lead to other methods.
B Question: for Conservatives – which of the following methods do you feel are acceptable for extracting information from suspects: (Keep in mind these methods may also be applied to White Christian Americans who are affiliated with Right Wing Ultra-Nationalist groups or the Tea Party)
1. Flaying and cauterization: slits are cut in the skin, then large patches of skin are peeled off with a pliers. Wounds are cauterized with a blow-torch to prevent the victim from bleeding out.
2. Genital mutilation – removal: The victims genitals are tied tightly with a cord – constricting blood supply and causing the genitals to eventually necrotize and fall off. Antibiotics are used to prevent infection from causing gangrene and death.
3. Family and child rape: The torture victim is bound to a chair so they cannot move. The victim’s spouse and/or children are gang-raped in front of the person being tortured. After the gang-rapes are completed the spouse and children are sometimes beaten to death and their corpses mutilated.
Live by the gun, die by the gun. Violence always leads to greater violence. Anyone who claims there is a line that they’ll never cross is a liar.
These tactics have all been used by fringe rebel groups in third world nations – including some Ultra-Right Christian Groups like the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda. Of methods 1 through 3 which ones are acceptable to a modern Republican?
