What Should I Do To Spice Up My Story? Part 1?

She was beautiful, beyond any sight ever. Gorgeous and stunning like no one else. No one could pass her by without taking a long glance at her. She was mysterious and that gave her more attention. She was simply Lilly. Well not just simply Lilly, there is a curious and odd story about Lilly which is not so simple. And her beauty wouldn’t last.
She was born with a face that was distorted. She was most unpleasant to look at. She was grotesque. Just a glimpse could make someone fall sick to their stomach. She grew up without a family, her parents left her as a young child, wrapped up with her face covered. She was found by a blind man who heard her sweet, innocent cry. She laid in the dirt road all wrapped up, laying there ready to die if a horse or carriage come down. This man, now he was not just some man. He was extremely wealthy and blind. It was late at night when little Lilly began to cry and he took her into her home to care for her. The man’s wife had died and they had no child so he took her as his own.
He raised her well and she became the sweetest young girl and she respected this man she called father greatly. He taught her everything she could possible know and more. As she grew up she become the brightest young lady her age, but no one knew this, she never left the house and had never talked to anyone else beside her father and a few of their servants. Her father thought of her so greatly and even though he was blind he knew she was beautiful. He kept her hidden because he knew what people would do to her and say. People were cruel and evil but he didn’t think of her that way. He thought she was the brightest, most innocent creature to walk the earth.
The man loved Lilly very much but he died on her nineteenth birthday, or at least the nineteenth anniversary of finding her. He had left everything to her. He had no one else but Lilly and now that he had died Lilly had no one. She was left alone once again. One day she was jaded with the old empty and decided to venture out to see the shops. But her father told her the truth with everything. She knew what would happen if she left the house so she wrapped her face with a scarf and she hid her secret. Lilly start toward the shops; that was the only place she knew about because she always heard the servants talk about it. She thought she would find something exciting there like the stories that the servants told.
Lilly wandered down the road looking at everything like she’d never been able to see. She was so curious and was taking in every moment like it was her last. Lilly looked at everything in the many shops and boutique but she met someone she never thought to meet. The very elderly widow Radley, once a beautiful and generous woman, now a miserly and decrepit witch, stopped Lilly in the market. She stood behind her and whispered, “I know who you are, you are the pretty sort. I know this, I have e seen your face in my eyes. I can help you.” The witch took Lilly’s arm and walked Lilly to her little shop full of odd trinkets and poisons. After this Lilly became afraid but the widow told her she was capable of many things, magical things. The witch told her she could reveal Lilly’s inner beauty. Lilly was no longer afraid, she was enthralled with the idea. Lilly wanted to be beautiful and didn’t want hide and longer.
“Give me your youth so I can continue to live and I shall reveal your heart and beauty so you may wear it on your face.”
Lilly didn’t care what she had to give up. She wanted to be free of what she called her curse. The revolting witch took out an old paper, a document or contract of some sort. It had written on it and names signed on it. As she signed, a golden mist illuminated her. The scarf unwrapped from her face and her beauty was revealed. Lilly didn’t bother to read any of it she just signed it. Poor girl, she didn’t know what she had just done.
Right after she signed the transformation started and she had changed her outer self to her soul. She was finally beautiful. Lilly lifted her hand to her face and felt what the witch had done. She felt her new face. She was so amazed and happy that she couldn’t control herself. She dash out of the door, almost dancing around as she ran home. As she got closer to her front door she slowed down and nearly stopped as horse and carriage wildly raged toward her. Time seemed to slow down as Lilly stood in the middle of the road, she looked at the carriage and turned away to look from death to see a man running to her.
The carriage passed Lilly has she had a man’s arms wrapped around her and with the wind knocked out of her. “I’m sorry Miss, I saw you just standing there and I couldn’t just watch you get, well you know. Oh dear, your head, it’s bleeding. Let me help you up.” The man quickly stood up and assisted Lilly who was shaking and still in shock. “That cut isn’t looking to good. Let me take care of it for you.”
