On Wednesday, I received a job offer from a law firm that practices exactly the niche area of law I’m interested in so I was very excited about the offer – they wanted me to start next week. I called them back yesterday to discuss the details of the offer and to accept the offer. I was informed that they would like to move the start date back a few weeks to late-January/early-February but they didn’t have an exact date at this time. I accepted the offer under those terms and asked that they send me written confirmation of everything we discussed with the precise start date. Should I wait until I receive their letter prior to sending my letter/email essentially providing written confirmation of my acceptance of the offer?

Hey all, I’ve got an ok starter kit and brain (ion drum rocker+roadie upgrade kit) and I’m not very happy with the DD-502 Hi-Hat Cymbal Pad plastic/rubbery feel…it really throws my rhythm off with the clack clack clacking and I’m looking to get something a bit more authentic. I’ve looked at Alesis Surge and Smarttrigger (one and the same now??) but i’m unsure. Any insight into this fairly niche area on what’s a good metal cymbal for electronic drums? I’d love to get something with a choke that is very responsive.

I selected ‘Dreams’ as my theme during the exploration phase, but I’m thinking of branching out to the idea of life being transient. I have no idea how should I go about furthering my visual research into this – I’ve drawn observation studies of clocks, flowers, bubbles etc, but it all seems very… usual and uncreative, and it won’t stand out on the prep boards that have to be submitted. I’ll be going into the conceptual design, so any suggestions would be great! 😀
For my final work, I’ll be using photography, since there’s a bit of a niche area.
