Can You Still Get A Law Enforcement Job – Fbi, Dea,police , If You Have Been In Trouble, But Not Charged?

I have a friend who wants to become a FBI, during high school he the principals frequently thought he was a drug dealer, but that is about it.
He also got questioned by officers for hanging out with people in a gang, but NEVER got put down as an affiliate on his record.
So would this cause him not be able to get a law enforcement job, he was a suspect, but never got charged for anything

    Yes. However, getting law enforcement officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. When law enforcement agencies are hiring, they usually have many qualified applicants for a relatively small number of openings. Any red flags can hurt your chances of getting hired by some agencies. Becoming an FBI Special Agent is a very competitive process. If your friend want to become a law enforcement officer, he should do whatever he can to make himself the best candidate that he can. He should get a college degree. Getting a college degree is one of the best things that he can do. Many agencies require or prefer applicants to have college. You must have at least a 4 year degree to become an FBI Special Agent. He should not do anything illegal, he should maintain a good reputation, he should keep a good driving record, he should not get bad credit, he should improve all of his communication skills as much as possible, and he should become as physically fit as he can.
