Roman Catholic, Jesuit-affiliated Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington has refused to recognize the Knights of Columbus as an official student group because — wait for it — the Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization.
Gonzaga administrators notified the students who had sought the school’s official seal of approval last month, reports The Cardinal Newman Society’s Catholic Education Daily.
“The Knights of Columbus, by their very nature, is a men’s organization in which only Catholics may participate via membership,” reads a letter written by Sue Weitz, vice president for student life. “These criteria are inconsistent with the policy and practice of student organization recognition at Gonzaga University.”
This is a stand that must be admired. Sexist discrimination must be outlawed. Do you agree?

The Knights of Columbus is the Catholic Church’s answer to the Masonic Order. The Masonic order does not accept women. It has a sister organization known as the Order of the Eastern Star. Effectively the Knights of Columbus is a Men’s Club.
This is as stupid as rejecting a boys locker room because the girls are not allowed in.
Knights of Columbus is a Catholic organization for male Catholics and been that way since its inception. And your saying that a Catholic University ggx;eo#tw why am l wasting my time with this question when l do not believe your question.
Not for private organizations. Private Organizations are allowed to select what members they want.
