If one animal within a food web is killed or numbers of that species decline it will effect the whole food web. For example if the animal was a mouse all the animals that feed off the mouse would have less food, it would be more competitive to find food, as there is less of it, and this would end up in a decline of species that feed off that animal.
The mink, coypu and red signal crayfish are all alien species, this means they are not naturally in the food web and have been introduced by human intervention. If these are in a similar niche to another animal in the food web they will eat the same food and therefore there will be more competition for food and population numbers of native species may decline if the alien species is more successful at finding food than the native species. The alien species may carry a disease that the native species is vulnerable to, grey squirrels and red squirrels are an example In extreme cases this could lead to the native species becoming extinct.
The mink has cause a decline in water voles in the uk. The signal crayfish was introduced to the uk in the 70s and carries a disease that is killing our native crayfish.

I think I know the answer to the first one
If a disease killed one animal in the food web, the effect on others could be that they are killed off aswell. This could happen because the first animals that died could be a rabbit. If the rabbit gets a disease and dies the animal that eats this dead rabbit , eg a fox, could die from that disease aswell. This would mean that animal eating the dead one would get that disease aswell.
I don’t know the answer to the second one but I think this answer is right as this is what I have in my notes from my biology teacher. Hope I could help.
