Rabbits, the perfect pet for the average family. Clean, gentle, and loving. The rabbit brings entertainment and comfort.
    FOOD:
    Diet
    Birth to 3 weeks–mother’s milk
3 to 4 weeks–mother’s milk, nibbles of alfalfa and pellets
4 to 7 weeks–mother’s milk, access to alfalfa and pellets
7 weeks to 7 months–unlimited pellets, unlimited hay (plus see 12 weeks below)
12 weeks–introduce vegetables (one at a time, quantities under 1/2 oz.)
Rabbits 7 months to 1 year
introduce timothy hay, grass hay, and oat hays, decrease alfalfa
decrease pellets to 1/2 cup per 6 lbs. body weight
    increase daily vegetables gradually
fruit daily ration no more than 1 oz. to 2 oz. per 6 lbs. body weight (because of calories)
Mature adults? (1 to 5 years)
Unlimited timothy, grass hay, oat hay, straw
1/4 to 1/2 cup pellets per 6 lbs. body weight (depending on metabolism and/or proportionate to veggies)
Minimum 2 cups chopped vegetables per 6 lbs. body weight
fruit daily ration no more than 2 oz. (4 TBL) per 6 lbs. body weight.
What quantities of food should I feed senior rabbits? (Over 6 years)
If sufficient weight is maintained, continue adult diet
Frail, older rabbits may need unrestricted pellets to keep weight up. Alfalfa can be given to underweight rabbits, only if calcium levels are normal. Annual blood workups are highly recommended for geriatric rabbits.
hay is the main food the brings necessary nutrients to the rabbit. It helps their digestive system and prevents obesity, dental disease, boredom, and diarrhea. Only Timothy Hay should be served to rabbits since other grasses can be harmful for your little critters health.
Pellets delivers your rabbit fat, carbohydrates, proteins, and minerals. They are usually served with hay. Avoid KayTee brand pellets which contain too much sugar. OxBow is the best brand.
rabbits are not cage animals. You see, they need at least 2 hours or 1 hour of excersize a day! Including their excersize in their home (which would be a cage if you bought one). The small cages that are sold online and at pet stores are terrible! The stuff they include in the cage is not even that good for them except the carefresh bedding. I am not saying they need to be free roaming animals. But instead, a new habbitat. Revolutionary in fact, it was deisgned by me and my family for our rabbits. What it is a dog pen, we got it at a garage sale for 20 bucks…
It has everything the rabbit needs including space and stuff…
The gray flooring is a WATERPROOF layer of flooring. So if they have accidents or water spills nothing hits the floor. Under that is some plywood and we glued them to the gray floors (call shower liner) they we got a base around the pen which is just some wood. This is great, it costed just only 50 dollars to make where the small cages you want to buy is more than that and will give the rabbit a sad life. And we make sure to let them out everyday!
Rabbits, should have about one hour of exercise a day. That means letting them roam out of their living space area with supervision!
    Nuetering/Spaying:
Nuetering or spaying is very important. Rabbits can be litter trained only if nuetered or spayed. The rabbits will mate and have more rabbits if not nuetered. They will be more wild and will always try to scratch to and everything. They will spray the walls with urine if not nuetered and will have their urine reek if not nuetered.

I recommend watching 101rabbits on youtube and some other stuff. You can watch really nice videos on rabbit care and like how to litter train your rabbit.
RABBITS ARE SO MUCH FUN! But you must give it the love it really needs!

If I were to be the owner f such a pet first of its name would be Sir Fluffingtons, and it would were a monacle 24/7. I would take Fluffingtons (for short) out and he would wear a 3 piece suit and shoes made from the most fine of black leather. For caring for him I would feed him the Omelete Fromage, He would eat this every morn’. Then for his dinner I would pay the butler to chop some lettuce form the mighty garden and feed him this once prepared and seasoned with a slight pinch of basil. That is what I would do with Sir Fluffington
