WordPress is WordPress – there are no “premiums”. However, ensure you always have installed the latest version which you do from within your WP control panel.
What you’re wanting to do is not clear so please explain fully please.

I believe the free WordPress.com host does require an upgrade to earn revenue, or add a custom domain name.
There’s a bit of confusion between WordPress.com the free hosting service providing a slightly limited multi user version of WordPress and WordPress.org the non profit source of the industry standard WordPress blog engine where you can find countless themes and plugins.
More serious affiliates pay about $8 for some ‘unlimited: shared server hosting account with an easy wordpress installer that provides the full version you can add plugins to. Every additional wotdpress site just costs you the $1 a month or so for a custom domain name.

There is no premium version of WordPress. Everyone has the same version (if they keep it updated to the latest version from WordPress.org).
A great deal of what you can and can’t do depends on the theme you use. For max flexibility and creative power, I recommend the paid “Genesis” framework and themes form StudioPress – no, I’m not an affiliate of theirs and do not benefit by recommending them. I just happen to know that they are great and a favorite of successful WordPress online marketers. Personally, I won’t settle for less for me or my WordPress development and marketing clients.
If you want a WordPress page or post to itself be a link to an off-site destination, such that you can add it to your navigation menu and a visitor clicking on that menu item will immediately go to that off-site destination (without showing them a page or post), try the plugin called, “Page Links To”.
In the usual post or page there is no reason you can’t paste in an affiliate link, although you need to do it from the “HTML” view of the WordPress editor. You might need to understand a bit of HTML and CSS code (Cascading Style Sheets) to get it formatted to look great.
In your themes widgets, you can use the plain text widget to add anything you want in a sidebar or a featured spot on your home page (all depending on the theme design). Using that plain text widget, you can add in any HTML code, CSS code or scripts you need, ad borders and formatting and anything else you know how to code. And you can paste in your affiliate links there too. Of course you have to know some HTML and CSS.
While we’re on the topic of themes, be sure to use only themes that support mobile devices. Many still do not.
