Because Fox News and Rush Limbaugh tell them to.
To be fair, they don’t accept evolution either, so it’s not like they’re playing with a full deck to begin with.
Why does it bother you so much when people disagree with you?
Ice extent doubled in October. The rate of increase since the 2012 minimum was near record, resulting in an October monthly extent 230,000 square kilometers (88,800 square miles) greater than the previous low for the month, which occurred in 2007. Despite this rapid growth, ice extent remains far below normal as we begin November.
Call it whatever you want to, I just don’t want to finance it. and when did this become a conservative belief, you don’t think people on both sides often share like ideals?
…because science isn’t a consensus. Your question already exposes the fallacy of Global Warming.
If Global Warming were a fact, then it’d be a fact … it wouldn’t be scientific consensus.
No one says: “Most scientists agree that what goes up, must come down.” They simply say: “What goes up, must come down…” because gravity is a FACT!
Everyone says: “Scientists agree that the world is heating up and that it is a result of CO2.”
The only people who say “Scientists agree” are those trying to SELL YOU a product.
Instead of showing us quotes from scientists, show us actual evidence that the planet is heating up AS A RESULT of Carbon Dioxide … you know, the thing plants use to breathe.

Here in Michigan, it’s cold right now. Of course, it’s supposed to be cold in November, but it is harder to convince someone it’s a few degrees warmer than normal when you have to scrape ice off your windshield in the morning.

There is no scientific consensus. Ignoring legitimate scientific inquiry from credentialed scientists in fields related to the climate change claims does not make consensus. Al Gore lied to you.
Many of the sources that you cited have a significant number of members that have publicly disagreed with the ” Anthropomorphic Global Warming Theory.” Many of these individuals have quit their memberships. Also, you are just counting the memberships! A larger and more significant number of members believe definitive proof of “AGWT” does not currently exist.
@Misty and others. It bothers the heII out of all progressives that people don’t agree with their deluded views. They hate and what they hate the most is stupid people. If you don’t agree with their views it is proof to them that you are stupid. So where did that famous “consensus” claim that “98% of all scientists believe in global warming” come from? It originated from an endlessly reported 2009 American Geophysical Union (AGU) survey consisting of an intentionally brief two-minute, two question online survey sent to 10,257 earth scientists by two researchers at the University of Illinois. Of the about 3.000 who responded, 82% answered “yes” to the second question, which like the first, most people I know would also have agreed with.
