I run a youtube channel and i want to join the affiliate program on this site to make some money to support and expand my channel, but i am not sure how does it work exactly…anybody has experience on this?

Create affiliate profile there, you will get your affiliate link. Now promote there link everywhere, you can post it on youtube also. By promoting your affiliate link, bring sales for website and you will get commission. Don’t do spamming, else you will lose your youtube profile and affiliate program also.
Affiliate programs expect you to have a game related site that gets decent traffic or a good sized opt-in mailing list, if you qualify (in some cases anyone does) you will be given a unique web address that will be your affiliate link, they say they pay the best in the industry, which I would hope might be 15% to 25% of sales. If they actually paid a 10% commission you would have to send them $1000 in game sales before earning the min $100 payout.
gameholds.com is a 9 month old Chinese registered site, no doubt selling counterfeit copies of games, I would not bey my life on actually getting paid by them.
