David Wright is our only hope man

  2. Mack Hoyt says:

First off, Burger King and Budwiser are practicaly paying for it with the ads. Second, If you want to make money, you have to have player. If you want player, you need a farm system. If you want a farm system, you need to not have crappy ballparks. If you have crappy ballparks, no one will want to play there. If no one will play there, you have no minor leagers. If you have no minor leagers , you have no future. If you have no future, you are the Padres, but in all seriousness you have to start from the home. And even tho it is next to nothing, its making the stadium look nice. Lets Go METS!!!

I completely agree, but they really aught to give Mike Pelfrey a pay raise, then I can truly say they have spent their money wisely
really? wow a 3-peat is all but guaranteed now

As a Phillies Phan, I’m liking it.

  5. Mr. Jack says:

Lol they should modify the scoreboard at Citi Field by taking it down. Met fans are not going to want to see the scores of the games this season. At least that way they could pretend that they are actually ahead in a few games!
And @Mack Hoyt, they need a good single A ballpark so minor leaguers will play there? Are you kidding me? They are minor leaguers they will play wherever the hell they are told.

You always ask the best questions.

  7. Jake - Tigers Fan says:

    LMFAO!

  8. Feelz™ (Gonorrhea ♥ Rice) says:

Mets management has become something of a joke especially with Fred Wilpon in charge.

  9. Jonathan Remache says:

Its funny how people are laughing at them before the season even began. But if they exceed expectations, everyone would jump on the bandwagon.

  10. davester says:

They have no choice but to spend their money wisely. Right now the Wilpons are in dire financial straits and may end up having to sell the Mets if the Madoff plaintiffs win their law suits against them. They also have a lot of debt. They are still paying players who haven’t played for the team for years like Bobby Bonilla.
