Legally Using Pictures On A Blog?

this little question noone has been able to CLEARLY answer. I am creating a blog where I take pics from different clothing sites and post them together for ppl to “get the look”. I have also looked into store affiliate programs, not sure if i wanna do that just yet.
my question is, How can i have these pictures posted where I dont get in legal trouble? Do I have to contact each site individually and ask permission to use each and every pic? Fashion for the most part is time sensitive information so I dont wanna have to wait until something is no longer in season before I get permission to use a pic because I am not in a location where I can go to more stores or fashion shows.
I would appreciate if someone gave me a straight answer or send me somewhere that I can get answers to help me.

There is no one answer to your question. Each site has different copy rights. Some pictures you may repost without asking permission, but you’d have to list where you got the pic. Other sites have more strict copy rights, and then you’d need to contact them to recieve a permission.
However, if i was you, i’d go ahead and put up the pics and then post a link where you got it.
It should be fine as long as you don’t say they’re your pics, and as long as you don’t make money out of it.
If someone will disapprove, they’ll let you know that you should take their pic of the blog. If you take it off after one warning, then everything’s cool.
    Happy blogging!

If you are posting a picture that you do not own, you MUST have permission from the person who does own it.
    Period. Very simple.

I’m afraid if you want to be 100% legal, you have to ask every site.
However, you can just mail all sites you want to use in the future at the same time
and ask if you could use any pictures on the site in present en future.
Do not ever delete the answers of that mail.
If you want more chance of getting a YES,
I suggest making a links page on your blog and tell the site owners that
there site will be linked to. (and than make the link off course)
But I don’t know anyone that got in trouble for not bothering to ask.
Just make sure you always give the source of your photo’s.
That’s free advertising for those sites, so the chance of them bothering you is slim.
    Hope it helps.
    Cheers
    E.
