How To Manage Very Very Frizzy Wavy Hair?

I’ve seriously tried every product out there on the market(mousses, gels, serums, hair sprays, creams, leave in conditioners, permanent straightening,John Freida Frizz Ease Line). I even bought a CHI flat iron but it still takes me about 2 hours to flat iron my hair. It’s very thick. I am 3/4 white and 1/4 black. Please please please help me I am so desperate! My hair is always frizzy and I hate it because it looks hideous and NOTHING makes it look pretty and curly. When it frizzes, it goes out like 5 inches, and looks really gross and unhealthy) I already use a comb and never brush it when it’s wet and use a leave in conditioner every week. I want to look nice for school but I can’t lose 2 hours of sleep just to straighten my hair, that’s crazy. Please please please help me! I will be forever grateful if you suggest something that works!
Also, can I curl my hair(with a curling iron) when it’s frizzy? Or will it not work?
My hair pretty much looks like this on a daily basis so I usually just put it in a bun:http://www.google.com/imgres?q=frizzy+ha…

Have you tried the CHI serum? You could try a hot oil treatment, Keratin rich conditioners, ect. Have you gone to a beauty supply store? They have tons of things you could try. I would stay away from any chemicals and go all natural. When you rinse conditioner out of your hair, don’t rinse it all the way out. You may pay a little more for the better products, but it’s worth it. And I’ve found at Sally’s it really isn’t that expensive compared to salons.
Also look up all-natural hair masks and remedies. I know avocado and olive oil do help.

I’m the same colour as you. I’m quarter black and three quarters white and my hair is very very thick and very very frizzy but it has curls in it. I tried everything as well but nothing seemed to work 🙁
But you need to give your hair lots and lots and lots and lots of moisture, can’t stress how important moisture is for your hair. You should not leave conditioner in unless it’s a leave in conditioner but do condition wash alot.
I started using black hair products instead of european ones. I went to the afro beauty store & Got a curl moisturiser and activator, & olive oil. I bet you have not used these. They make my hair amazing. So soft and much curlier, it also eliminates frizz. You should check there, because you do have black in you. So try any local afro store.. it depends where you are from? E-mail me for help if you need it: sineadeneyo@hotmail.co.uk
Look for something with the brand name ‘SofN’Free’. They do alot of different products but the best is the 2 in 1 Curl activator and Moisturiser. They’re normally in white bottles. And that product always has green writing. Also get yourself some olive oil! They also do a olive oil gel now, which is really good… There will be probably more products but just look around, i’m sure you will find something perfect in there for you. Just go there! It’s better to use those sort of products because of your hair type. They have anti frizz serums as well which are really good, and all those products smell so so nice lol 😛
I would suggest a relaxer, but you said you have tried permanent straight before? And i have tried it before but since my hair was so thick it didn’t work. But you could also get a perm, a curly perm to make your hair not frizzy but curly? And then use afro products on top of that. Your hair will come out really nice you know 🙂
And i’m not sure about the curling iron, a perm would be better. Hope i could help x x x

well what i do is i have this paul mitchelll smoothing gel and i put it on my hair when getting right out of the shower. I rub it to the top of my roots to the bottom then i wrap my hair in a towel. 10 minutes later i take a regular brush and blow dry my hair while brushing it. After done and dry it should give you a smooth sleek and non-frizzy look!

There is a very good hair product I recommend that leaves hair healthy, shiny and resilient, it´s Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment with Heat Protector, it smoothes the cuticles and helps fortify hair that is prone to breaking and split ends. Reduces friction from brushing and helps prevent further damage, reduces Frizz .Provides heat protection against electronic hair tolos. I bought it at safrons http://www.safrons.com/pro-naturals-moro… Good luck.
