How Do Lawyers Know So Little After So Much School?

It seems most lawyers do not actually know very much at all about the law. They only seem to know a tiny little niche, and often times don’t even seem as familiar with that as they should be. For as much school as they take, most lawyers don’t seem to know much more than an extremely well educated non-lawyer on the subject. Except that they feel they can charge hundereds of dollars an hour for what they know.

Let’s see you go through law school, pass the bar exam and practice law then, genius.

A big part of being a lawyer is being able to solve problems logically. That’s what the LSAT test is all about. If you don’t pass this test you don’t get into law school.
Just remember that being able to do your homework every night and pass an exam doesn’t make you smart. One of my best friends is studying to get into law school, passing with flying colors, and yet she’s as dumb as a post. Sometimes I wonder how she gets through life being so clueless. A few days ago there was something about the UN on TV, and she asked me what the UN was and why is it called UN and not UK all of a sudden.
That being said, though, it’s usually the smart lawyers who win their cases and make the most money. Basically lawyers are allowed to charge so much because that’s how they repay the massive debt they have acquired from law school.
    It’s a sad world, isn’t it?
