What Part Of Italy And Sicily Is A Nice Part To Live? No Gangs, Stuff Like That.?

I’m taking my family to Italy next Fall, because I recently found out that I have Italian heritage (mostly from southern Italy and Sicily), and some Spanish heritage, but that’s besides the point. I wasn’t planning on coming back to America for some time. My question I guess would be this: where is a nice place to live in Italy or Sicily? People who live there, or have been there, if you could answer this it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. No “gang” affiliated places, drugs. I don’t want that for my family. Thank you.

  1. alberto lupi says:

Difficult to say for spots, possible only to give areas and averages judgment.
Best (and most expensive) parts are the area of Bolzano Aosta Trento and Friuli: this is the North and the first 2 town foreign speaking area (German and French), then Emilia Romagna, Marche, Tuscany, Veneto.
The south is more difficult, in Sicily the southeast part is said to be the better.
