Should I Switch From Being A Seventh Day Adventist To A Messianic Jew?

I am thinking of leaving the Seventh Day Adventist Church and joining a Messianic Jewish Group. This group is affiliated with Chosen People Ministries. I question some of the Adventist teachings including their claim of being the remnant church and Ellen White and believe that Messianic Judaism to be more Biblical. What do you think?

    That’s switching from pseudo-Christianity to pseudo-Judaism.

  2. Heinrich Himmler says:

nothing good will come out of it…

  3. Aravah says:

answer: only if you’re a dishonest person. They specialize in it (yes, I’ve talked with them. Yes, I’ve read their literature. Yes, my minister nephew has dealt with them and so have I). “messianics” are Christians attempting to trick and deceive others into converting. Is lying for Jesus/Yeshua a good thing?

  4. Kevin7 says:

You should decide your own fate. Messianic Jews are Christians, they are NOT JEWS.

  5. Bolide ⌡shinning bacon of hope.. says:

Getting away from the weirdness of Millerism would be A Good Thing, but getting involved in the dishonesty of “Messianic Judaism” would be A Bad Thing.

  6. PENGUINI says:

No! Don’t do this. It is disrespectful and dishonest .

  7. Chia Brain says:

I think you should avoid religious groups especially fringe ones all together.
If you are lucky they will only take your money and not your freedom of thought.

  8. Suckels Clown of Righteousness says:

Yup, I would and call it a step up. The only deception gong on is that Jesus and his disciples weren’t Jewish.

  9. Hogie says:

Either way, it is s Judaized Christianity, and as such, is invalid. You are still trying to put the new wine into the old wineskin.
The gospel is a message of salvation through faith in Christ, without adding old covenant works of the law.

    Mark 14:60-65 (New International Version)
60Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” 61But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.
Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ,[a] the Son of the Blessed One?”
62″I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
63The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. 64″You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?”
They all condemned him as worthy of death. 65Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.
    Heavenly Father,
I want to know You as the true and living God. I ask you to forgive me and cleanse me from everything I’ve done wrong. Change my heart, and give me a new life. I turn from false gods and submit my life to your Son Jesus Christ as my only Savior and Lord. Fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for paying the penalty for my sins and giving me a relationship of friendship with God as my Heavenly Father
