You need to get good results consistently to gain sponsorship but there is no harm in trying to get some now 🙂
Write to all the horse companies and just give them abit of info about yourself and your horse, play up your talents and see what they come back with, you never know 😉
    Good luck x

You wont get a sponsor if you are just starting out. People that have a string of five or so horses and compete every weekend as a living are the sort that get sponsors.
You may be able to get your local tackshop to sponsor you. I’ve also seen a trailer that said “Sponsored By Grandad” on the side!
Those people at the smaller shows are probably those with their younger horses that just want to get them out before taking them to a bigger show.

…so you basically want a company to give you money to help pay for your horse?
Sponsors give money to people who are competing and winning money BACK. Those people also get the companies a lot of exposure.
No one will sponsor you until you’re into high-level showing.

The problem with getting a sponser is that sponsers want to get some return on their investment. Only experienced riders who are winners in high level competitions get sponsers because they make the sponsers business or product be seen by many people. Beginners don’t get sponsers.

You need to get some experience first then look for a sponsor
