What is the legality of posting a miss-leading job advert on a classifieds advert site and then selling the viewer/job seeker a work from home, bizop or mystery shopping opportunity as an affiliate, like a clickbank digital product or something simular?
It is considered theft by deception. Check your state for specifics.

The consumer is completely aware of what he is doing when he purchases the :franchise” or equipment.
It’s a common scheme that has been around for years and years. Although not the most moral ways to make money, it is not illegal. If you are going to use this scheme I suggest you rent a PO Box and do all of your business via mail…otherwise you are going to have a lot of angry people knocking on your front door. At least with a PO Box all attempts for people to find you will lead them to the local post office.
