   You can do that but I would not suggest doing it unless you just don’t have
   money for hosting.
   The reason is because you loose total control of what is said or what you want
   to put in your blog. You are bound by the WordPress terms and conditions of
   having a blog with them. Plus what if in the future something happened to
   Wordpress and your blog was doing really well? You would be disappointed
   if you didn’t have you own host then.
   Upgrade Promote does SEO for small businesses to help them out. There is also
   an affiliate marketing program

   If you have a free wordpress blog in wordpress.com, then you can’t do some affiliate marketing because of their ToS.
   If you want to do with affiliate marketing, you can either blog for free in blogger blogspot or getting a selfhosted wordpress (wordpress.org).
