What Colleges Have Riding Teams That Aren’t Affiliated With The Ihsa?

i want to ride in college, but i don’t want to ride on an IHSA team, i know a few colleges like centenary, for example, have hunter/jumper teams where you can ride your own horse,or one the college provides but you only ride and show that horse, unlike IHSA. i want to do this mainly so i can keep moving up in levels. correct me if i’m wrong but i found that the the highest IHSA level is open over fences which is 2’9″-3’3″ and i’d rather be able to do at least big eq, but preferably 3’6″ or higher jumpers. i’ve serched a bunch but i’ve only come across centenary.

If you don’t mind riding a lot of different horses, NCAA Equestrian team may be something to look at.
You ride a different college owned horse every time you ride, but they regularly compete at heights of anywhere from 3′ to 3’6″
The only catch is that you have to try out to be on a team, you can’t just get on because you want to. Also, depending on the team you get on you may not show much if at all for the team, because of the number of girls or how competitive they are.
