My friend purchased the website Researchislam.com, we still havent set it up yet!
We are looking for ideas to make this website really pop out.
Any suggestions are fine. We are not looking for actual content, like topics to write about. We are looking to fill a niche, so we are looking for a general outline.
Maybe things you thought other Islamic Websites lacked. It is going to initially be in English.

There is so much things you could include, the possibilities are endless…I would maybe have a little tab for each of the pillars in Islam. You could then go into more detail, there’s alot of things you can do!

I am sorry! In the first place, why would you ask here? Otherwise, don’t expect to get worthily respond. Again, I am sorry. But I personally, would be grateful if it is what you said, the interactive website for Islamic discussion. I had surf couple of such websites. I found sending questions was a big question. I mean not directly, as Y/A. That’s one. Second, the Islamic website as others, should have authentic Quran translated in English and Authentic Hadith Rasuulallah for references. In addition, religious books from other religions can be added (merely for study and references).
Websites will be threaded but simple. Rate of retrieve should be counted.
I am just suggesting. I know less about building website. But I did notice, website with many columns and or images or animation and ads slow my connection.
For God sake, May Allah grants your courage and gives full support.
