Is There A Niche For People Who Admittedly Just Don’t Know Whether There Is A God Or Not?

I think that it is entirely possible for there to be a god and at the same time I know there could not be. Is there a place for a guy like me?
Also if you are of the same vein of belief/non-belief as I which way would you like it to be, a world with a God or a world without one?

    Those people are called agnostics. So much for the position on knowledge whether gods exist or not.
    Now ask yourself the harder question. Do you have any beliefs in god/s?
    Yes = theist
    No = atheist

    the agnostics are the most reasonable because they don’t claim to know anything for sure but they don’t deny anything for sure either. They are the most honest of all.
    A world with no god and no thought of one could be awesome but i think too many people’s morals are so faulty that they need to believe in a higher power in order to be good.

    You either believe or you don’t believe in God. God is for real. You may not see him or even hear him but he is real. Study your bible and you will get a better understanding. Also go to God in prayer and ask him to give you the understanding for you to interpret the bible teachings.

    We do have free will to believe either or. Pick up your bible and read it.
    Also pray and have God reveal the TRUTH, BEAUTY AND LOVE of Jesus Christ to you, you will than not question anymore.
    God Bless You!!

    Agnosticism is the lack of belief in a God.
    Which would I prefer? Definitely the one without a God. However benevolent it may be, I wouldn’t want to trust any single authority with that much power- especially if it would even consider sentencing anyone to eternal damnation.

  12. CausticS says:

    Yes, there is a place for you. It is called an atheist. I need to clarify, though. An atheist is someone that believes there is no god or gods. An agnostic is someone that doesn’t know if there is a god or gods. The difference is slight, but it’s between belief and knowledge. I don’t believe there are any gods, but I don’t know this for certain. See the link below.
    For the second question, it depends on which god. Some are tolerable as described, others are horrific. If given the choice between the world we have now and a world that was created and run by the god of the Abrahamic religions, I am happy with what we have.

    Look at it this way: if there is a God, it certainly isn’t one of the man made barbaric Gods of the ancient holy books. It hasn’t made it self known, therefore not giving 2 sh!ts about us. In that case why even give it another thought? The only thing you could do is make up sh!t that you think he wants, just like all the religions have done in the past. Where does that get you? Absolutely no where, so you might as well just assume he doesn’t exist, like you assume other unsupported claimed don’t exist (Santa).

    Yeah, there’s a niche, it’s in Church. Irregardless of our opinion or beliefs, God exists in spite of our ignorance.
