I also use a keyscrambler and Advanced System Care Pro. Would AVG conflict with any of these or does it just work in it’s own little niche?

Only one antivirus at the time
you want only one antivirus and you want the one with realtime or rootkit protection
AVG performance has dropped over the last couple years but at least you could have picked some rated even worse
you should not use more than one AV software at the same time.
If you want to do a scan with another, then you should pause any others you may have on your computer. I do this from time to time, just to make sure one has not missed anything. Like getting a second opinion of something.
