Applying For A Volunteer Postion With The Police, Will A Record As A Young Offender Affect My Chances?

I have already submitted an application, and just got a letter in the mail today with the brochere and a personal information release form for them to conduct a records search on me. Can someone tell me what exactly will be searched, and if they can get information on all reports that have my name on them? I know my crimminal record check has come back clean with no offences listed on it, as I got one done for employment purposes about a month ago. I’m just wondering if that’s all that will be searched, and what CPIC, CNI, NICHE, ARCHIVED, and MTO all are, as they are in a chart on my personal release form to be checked off as negative (clean).

When a juvenile record is sealed it is closed to EVERYONE’s eyes forever. A judge can’t use it even for adult sentencing.
Not everyone can get their juvenile record sealed. Serious offences , in that case, can be used later.

if you where under 18 at the time and it was just a misdemeanor it shouldent show up

    Kelle IS INCORRECT
Sealed is NOT sealed to the police checks OR the judge.
It’s mind boggling this idiot is passing off bad guesses like this as answers. Just mind boggling.
