I’m just started college freshman year in my hometown this fall…but im still finding that i’m feeling a bit homesick. My mom still lives here, but she is moving in 3 weeks to CO. I see her on the weekends, and i know its silly to be so homesick when i’m in my hometown and my mom is still here…but i can’t help it. I have a support system, I havn’t exactly found my niche or a social place to vent yet. My mom and I have a good relationship and we talk on the phone alot. I don’t think its that im missing home so much, but just all the new changes of college. I’ve never adapted to change very well. How do I adapt to change easier? Sometimes I feel like im the only one, even though I know i’m not.
