A Marine Corps veteran with a concealed carry permit stopped a suspect in a brutal beating in West Allis, Wis., on Tuesday morning when he drew his gun and called the police.

Definately saves lives
Depends. If everyone conceal carries, then no because there are always irresponsible whack jobs out there. But if only good people like that man on that example of your, then yes.
