I have an old floor lamp over 10 years now and we noticed that it wasn’t very stable, so we did the bolt up again and the weight just disintegrated. So now I am trying to find a replacement otherwise my Mum will get upset as she loves it.
it was bout 12 inches although its hard to tell as it is now in pieces so might of been less. I know this is a niche area but I would appreciate any help

Where Can You Buy A Round Lamp Weight?

Is it round or metal or ??? When posed with such a dilemma in the past, I have sometimes gone to the hardware store and just ‘browsed about’ for something that would solve the problem. Quite often, one can find something that works. Another option would be to place an ad on freecycle or craigslist in the ‘wanted’ section and place an ad for a non-working floorlamp of the same vintage, requesting that it be free or cheap.
