Confused About Internet Sites?

I have been really fascinated with conspiracy theories. I’ve come across various sites & I’ve read about the “secret societies” e.g. “Illuminati” etc. it’s difficult to know if any of the articles posted are truth but what confuses me is when you’re banned from viewing these sites. It’s been entertaining, like reading a good novel, so I guess I’m disappointed that I’m not allowed to view these sites anymore. Some ppl are into sci-fi,aliens, dream interpretations, tarot cards. We all have an area or areas of interest so I figure the Internet is the best place to start to find answers. Yes or no?

When it comes to conspiracy theories it’s impossible to find out the absolute truth. The way I look at is that it’s naive to believe all conspiracy theories, but it is downright stupid to believe no conspiracies.
I could understand that finding the truth is difficult but to get to the bottom of it, one needs to do thorough research. Nobody should tell you what to believe; that goes for the media as well. My suggestion to you, if you don’t know what is true or not is to a bit of research. You won’t find absolute truth, but you will find a belief within yourself.
There are often conspiracy theories that have a shred of truth to them with a lot of unknown aspects. That’s why so many of them are theories, but if someone can produce enough evidence, their conclusion should be just as credible as what you hear on the media.
It’s no conspiracy theory that the multi-media outlets have been consolidated and monopolized. There are only a handful of companies that own the television networks, radio stations and printing presses that are able to edit and censor the news. If one comes to the understanding of how the banking institutions and stock markets control so much, it wouldn’t be so confusing to come to the conclusion that a few wealthy men on the top dictate what the public should and shouldn’t hear. Upon realizing this, it becomes evident on why someone thinking outside the box becomes such a danger: because there are truths that those in power think we’re too immature to know.
My advise to you is to do a bit of research before establishing your beliefs; if it works for you, that’s great, throw it out if it doesn’t fit, but stay open minded and listen to the evidence others propose.
I’m a little confused by your question though, how were you banned from one such web site?

The internet is a place where ANYONE can make a website, post an article and it look real or legit.
In a world where Photoshop and editing software exists it’s possible to make a story out of anything.
As for the Illuminati thing it’s a huge media scam, I mean they can put a triangle in a music video, make a singer cover one eye or reference the devil and people will FLIP out and paranoid fools will repost the video meaning more people will watch it and thus make them a bucket tonne of money.
Don’t believe what you read on the internet if anything affects you personally and your day to day life that’s what you need to count on.

Yes ofcourse, Internet is a good handy thing to gain knowledge, have distant friends, spending time or for entertainment. I am addicted to it.
But yes, sometimes some sites write article with some fake descriptions to have much traffic and earning. But they r few in case of articles giving knowledge. But everything u find in Wikipedia.org, Y! Answers, Wiki Answers, Fixya.com are perfect. Others are too perfect often. If u ever have a doubt, go search the same thing on other sites too to find if that is true.
    Hope this note comes handy.
