I read an article on Psychology Today a while back (I can’t find it now) I remember it saying serotonin doesn’t necessarily cause obsessive compulsive disorder, just like a lack of Advil doesn’t cause headaches. Does this mean that serotonin and obsessive compulsive disorder are affiliated with each other at all or does it mean that serotonin isn’t always the cause?
