The American Girls series is okay they are based off different time periods and has a historic aspect but it might be a little young. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is good. Pride and Prejudice and Emma, most things by the Austen sisters. Anne of Green Grove is a great series, my mother read it to me. Harry Potters are good for everyone. To Kill a Mockingbird is hands down one of the best books ever. It depends on what shes into, can you say what her personality is like?

If you like adventure, look for “From Australia to Germany in a 4×4” Its a true story about a 16 year old.
Google it or look in Squidoo for more info.
You can also read a book called Left Behind. Its the first book in a series of 12. Very good.
    Cheers from DOWNUNDER

Little Women, I’m not sure if it is based on a real thing, though.
