Is Wwe Studios Profitable?

Are people always gonna be interested in McMahon and crew, or is pro-wrestling destined to end up a low common denominator product TNA proudly provides for the niche sperg market? Is the WWE on their way to do like IFC Studios and just eke out a living cranking out crappy horror movies straight to DVD & Blu-ray?
But on the other hand, could TNA finally firing Hulk Hogan also change this? If the competition is so pathetic, then the WWE obviously wouldn’t need a reason to go back to their former glory! Would outside influence change things rather than their own effort?

  1. Raven Hair and Don't Care says:

WWE Studios keeps WWE from having to hire other studios to make their DVDs and films for them.
All those DVDs they put out throughout the year so I’d say its not hurting them to have it.

    Lol.
WWE is unnecessarily associated with films. They do that to get their stars into bigger pictures and ultimately WWE gets recognized. Whoever who doesn’t watch wrestling know by heart The Rock came from the WWE. That is something WWE’s been trying and experimenting with for years, to get another guy like that. Now don’t get me wrong, if Orton, Cena and Miz have no trouble acting in front of a live stadium half naked, I don’t see how bad they could act in bigger films… so I’m not exactly that strong on how their acting skills are, more like I’m concerned on the plot. 12 rounds for John Cena was a cliche movie, done before and will be done again.
